I love Tetris Effect. Love the music, the backgrounds, the levels... just fantastic.
Until Dawns' branching paths were as consequential as Detroit BH, if not more.
Until Dawn was, as far as 'design', the best game that company has made. Everybody loves Detroit, and beyond got lots of praise too, but Until Dawn did it all better.
Though Detroit is a good game. IMO, the best 'telltale' developer in the business.
Until Dawn was awesome. Loved it so much. Played Detroit but was just like 'meh tis alright'
So is that saying Detroit's branching does very little? Detroit is on my list to play, but I've already played Until Dawn. I liked Until Dawn but each character (except for 1 of them) only can die in about 2 places, and like one of those possible death situations is shared between almost all of the characters... And besides that, there's only like 2 or 3 choices that had much impact later in the game.
I would pay very good money to hear Rach say squirrel again 😩😂

Soulcalibur 6. It's finally coming out on PC, and was hyped to be a great reboot (btw, it is), but barely anyone cared about it from what I've seen
I am a PERSON I’m glad someone finally brought it up.
It was released in broketober (what I call October) and had fierce competition. It would have even directly competed with BFV if that wasn’t delayed.
I hope that the sales were good enough to warrant another entry or continued support.
I don’t want the tale of swords and souls to die out just yet.
@@carterscott01 I don't even think it's the delays that caused it, more likely the release date being close to RDR2. It's a shame, because I enjoy the chronicle mode

My pick for this would be Fire Pro Wrestling World on PS4. If you’re tired of WWE’s “same game every year” crap in recent years (and you don’t mind a retro look when it comes to graphics), Fire Pro is the way to go. Definitely a fun game to play around in, once you get used to the gameplay and controls.
If you miss barbed wire baseball bats and other extreme stuff, AI that actually tries more than just countering everything, and even intergender fighting (for those that would like to see, for example, Supergirl go to war against Minoru Suzuki or something), play some Fire Pro! Hell, if you miss GM Mode from the old SmackDown Vs Raw games, Fire Pro will have a GM Mode available soon as well.

astro bot rescue mission and its not even close this game is probably one of the finest platformers ever and an absolute masterpiece its really a breath of fresh air after playing soo many games that are dark,cinematic and serious this game is just pure fun and charming that made me feel like a kid again dont get me wrong i adored RDR 2 and GOW and are in my top 3 favorite games of this generation but i wish sony would bring back these lighthearted games

For me it's definitely Thronebreaker or Vampyr. Both FANTASTIC RPG's with great choice and consequence with those consequences tying into gameplay in unique ways.
Vampyr will get it's popularity and credit one day my friend. Such a gem.

@referral madness completely agree but i think the consensus is that it's not as good of a game as the 1st but i think the gameplay especially the combat maybe a little easy IS WAY BETTER, and no one even talks about it like as a upper echelon game of the year.

@@theboii7692 Combat Mechanics are certainly more smooth. Game went from an RPG to an action RPG, as I see it. And some people don't like that, but commercially it is more successful because of it.

I agree with Jules that The Banner Saga series deserves more attention. I loved the Norse mythical storytelling. But honestly, I felt that the final game was a bit of a let down compared to its predecessors. The battles were underwhelming in the last game. Story was great though.

I got Firewall Zero Hour with my Aim controller and have absolutely no desire to play it. Not a multiplayer or military shooter fan and it has no single player component.
Still brand new in the package.

Octopath Traveller didn't get talked about much. It was definitely one of my favorite games of the year, and I wish it got more attention.
the only issue I had with Tetris Effect was that it cost £35... when it goes down in price to £15 or so, then I'll jump in.

I kinda feel that there's a game that is far beyond overlooked to the point it has been forgotten.. but I honestly hope it does make a comeback someday with some re-imagining or something like that (At the time, it was a mess.) but it's Chaos Legion. I feel it's been soooo overlooked for years (PS2 era old.) and I'm sure there's a lot of negative things to say about it. (There are a few, trust me.) But I think that this game could use a little bit of polish, upgrade a few things, redo a few things here and there and make it be way better than its original. I definitely know there's potential in this game, even though it kinda looks like a DMC clone (kinda..) but like I said, just a few touch and go places, fix a few things, and it's definitely a gem. I really hope Capcom can remake it under a different person who knows the game full well and see the potential shine I know it has.
Go to 5:00 with jules talking but put it on .25 speed and watch until 5:10 I have to say it was pretty priceless. Edit: I take that back watch until 5:15 it got even better

Come on, if Connor dies in the beginning of Detroit you just get a new Connor, ain't that much of shift in the overall game but I'll give it to you that compared to their other games, Detroit actually can change a lot from playthrough to playthrough.
I mean things change with each Connor if connor dies enough Hank will kill himself and some other differences

dunno wtf your editor was talking about with Deltarune being a "Direct sequel to Undertale." when Toby himself said that its something COMPLETELY different with familiar faces. Its more of a parallel universe than anything akin to a sequel. A direct sequel would take place immediately at the end of Undertale which Deltarune clearly does not.
I also love tetris, and the new one looks amazing. Sadly I do not own a ps4 only ps3 and it is not on ps3 :(.
