    A scene of the past, it is no where to be found inside Singapore anymore even though old memory remain forever.

    Wow! Those old bus during the 1950s bus fares cost only 5 cts to 10 cts. It brings back sweet childhood memories. Ha! Ha!

    Its the end for most or all companies engaged by smrt and sbs before today, most of them or all just got swallowed or business fell but i would like to see lta engage or bring in more bus manufacturers to ply singapore roads

    Remembered how much & how for so long bus commuters suffered during journeys in noisy, hot, crowded buses & not to mention surly bus conductors (thank God they're not around anymore)

    this is a happy ground to visit but no longer exists because it had been replaced with a 50 of black shade and compact area with all in one interchange and shopping and residential units by adding air con system. keep this video. Not even SMRT was constructed yet.

    Those days policeman no need to pay just wave at the conductor its done....i was rather in secondary 4 so travelling from my old katong area to jurong is very very far.....so me n my fren just wave and thats it free ride to jurong from katong.....lmao

    If i'm not wrong , Double Deck should be from the early eighties.

      I think the first double decker bus entered service in 1979, with the first articulated bus following suit 17 years later when the first batch of double deckers just retired.

    1960s bus journey...... Yuks....smelly petrol.......dirty....cockroach infested......sweaty...crowded.....omg!....l was in primary school!......😵😱😱😱😱😱

    I so remember..... No.44 bus ...from Joo chiat place to Redhill....so smelly.....petrol ...yuks...l used to vomit out of the open window.... Travel sickness......hated it like hell.....omg!omg!omg!....🙊🙊🙊🙊😨😰😱

      Compare that to the Hispano Habit articulated buses that recently retired. A whole world away.
