My wired G Pro mouse started acting up after almost 5 years (double click issue), I saw this G203 non prodigy for $28 and it literally feels like the same mouse vs G Pro in fact the middle click is even better on it, I read Logitech improved the stiff middle click issue on newer G Pro revisions but ya G203 is solid and the smooth non-braided cable works out better for my setup. I was using Logitech gaming software with the G Pro but discovered this wont work with the G203, however the current G Hub software is really nice and has been improved big time since last time I tried it.
I wish I had shorter hands, the curved buttons in the the front don't make any sense to me, even the logitech m100 is better in that way, it's a very similar shape but 5€ and worse clicks, sensor, etc.
you're right about the left and right buttons fading, ive had the regular g203 from when it came out (a little over a year ago) and the buttons have become shiny and not textured
I like the shape of this mouse better than the g pro wireless tbh. I have very small hands and this mouse is my favorite mouse to use with a claw grip while gaming. Definitely picking up the G305 and doing the battery weight reduction mod on it.

Any suggestion from someone who made the switch from the g203 to something "better" but similar and wireless ?
I haven't made a switch, but if I'm not wrong G305 is the same shape as G203, and it's wireless, so exactly what you want! The newest Razer mice - Orochi V2 has a similar shape and less weight.
Do you have problem with sensor with that mouse? I am playing apex too and i use cheap mouse with bad sensor. When i move it fast(to do 360 or some shit) my aim just lag and don't move or look down to floor. Do g203 have that problem or? (sorry for bad English xd)
@@someone-dt1jd maybe your mousepad? Ive never had any problems with the sensor 🤷♂️
@@mrelegant2677 thanks, im probably gona buy g203. I think its not mouse pad, its just that my mouse is shit. Mouse and keyboard combo costed 30 dollars and in my country shit like this is more expensive so you can say in america that would cost arond 10 dollars by its quality. G203 is 45 dollars in my country and how i have seen in america is 15.
@@someone-dt1jd it cost me around 45 too in my country.
It's around $40-50 on Amazon right now, but $19.99 on Logitech right now, total is around $27 after tax and shipping.

Have anyone got the link for the software for logo tech g203 prodigy gaming mouse?
just got this and im happyyy
my g103 prodigy has a very awkward side button, especially for gaming. I have a small (maybe) fat hand with palm grip.
I got the g305, love it. Gonna grab this for $14 at bestbuy black friday before they go extinct.
I have bought the g102 but i am having issues of misclicking the left click and right click, will i have to same problem with this
Do you think the g203 prodigy is still worth buying? Great vid btw
obviously
2 years in left scroll button sometimes doesn't work as intended.
Nice review!
Fun fact: in asia this mouse is called the g102
I just bought this mouse I recommend it its really good
I like the shape of this mouse better than the g pro wireless tbh. I have very small hands and this mouse is my favorite mouse to use with a claw grip while gaming. Definitely picking up the G305 and doing the battery weight reduction mod on it.
Tbh if logitech would make a 50 dollar high quality one I'd be fine with buying it. The only thing I'd be worried about is how long it'd last.
