Do you think these seats would fit in a New Edge? I'm having my doubts cause of the seat's shoulder. Btw have you think the idea about re-routing the seatbelt so it go through the shoulder's hole?
I’m not 100% sure about the edge but the company offers measurements of the seats so you can determine if they will fit in your car or not. The biggest issue will be the brackets. As for the seatbelt hole, I did do that! Took a little bit of work, but looks GREAT!

I just installed some Corbeaus. I noticed you have the seat belt running through the seat's "shoulder hole". I'm in the process of unbolting seat belts & doing the same thing as you but I noticed "wiring" on the floorboard...Did you cut these wires? BTW. I bought the same "airbag resisters" as you but I'm still getting airbag light...
The wires that were cut were the ones that were for the motor to the seat. I kept the sensor for both seats that has a little green magnet on it because Joe and I believe that it’s used to determine how far the air bag needs to deploy. We also kept the air bladder for the passenger because without it will also cause a airbag light. If those are not tampered with, the resistors should work!
As for the seatbelt, I unbolted the bottom of the belt (near the floor board) and moved it through the seat hole. The passenger side is a little more tricky where you need to remove a tab behind a plastic panel in order to remove the nut closest to the floor board. Once that’s done, you can proceed

Right on! Rear seat leg room made no difference 👍. As long as you purchase an adjustable seat rail, you should be ok

I heard bad reviews too and I don’t know why. I haven’t had issues with it and I enjoy it. There’s things that could be better about it but nothing that drives me nuts. I have a video on it on my channel 👍
I got the corbeau non adjustables , once i sat on them , man i am a short guy 5'3" i had to return them i could barely see over the steering wheel, i wonder if thet make some brackets to raise them
Spacers would be your best bet, but do at your own risk!

how is the comfort as for long distance / how is the cushioning on the seat?
Cushioning is great! No issues with it. Long driving isn’t bad but the longest I’ve sat in these was about 45 minutes
The seats look really dope! how about the height wise? do you find the seat to be much lower than stock? or did you have your stock seat on the lowest setting anyway?
Honestly, realized 0 difference from stock to aftermarket with the exception of the appearance, seat pillars, and the light weight. I’m 5’8 and can see fine with no adjustments
@@LoganScott. man I just got the 2012 Mustang and with the stock seat in the lowest position I feel like I've severely limiting my visibility and I'm 6'0 😅
Did you have your stock seat set to lowest point before or about medium?
@@aimless-drifter The lowest setting. These seats may sit a tad bit higher but I didn’t really notice a huge difference in visibility. You can always add spacers to extend your height but do at your own risk brotha.

I have an SN95 I'm doing a 351w swap in. Was just looking at random aftermarket seat videos for reviews (I'm cheap). Anyway just a random thought or suggestions which might not be valid but, wouldn't a light coat of grease on the rails be a good thing to do?

The rails came with grease already on them, but it doesn’t hurt to add a tad bit more considering there wasn’t much on it to begin with imo 🤷🏼♂️

Anything you can do bc shit ain’t cheap! These seats were def worth it though if you’re looking to buy them. Only flaw is after a few months, they made this creaking sound when you sit down but that’s really it.

I need a fast response it would really help, if I don’t use the resistors for now will they cause al the other airbags to not work? Or just the seats

Okay cus my dumb ass lost the package somewhere and now I have to buy some locking nuts for the seat belt because I thought I could use the old ones

@@emotionlessmarshmallow4581 did you swap the guts from one seat to the other? Make sure you have the right resistor because they could have sent you for a 2009 mustang. Not a 2014. You have to email them separately to receive the right one
@@LoganScott. oh my god. I had no idea i was supposed to email. I basically took the seat belt wire and pluged that in and put the resistor in.
I could probably make these on my 07 but can you use other brackets
This is a universal seat so I wouldn’t see why you couldn’t. May need to re resign some things

@@jmx3v324 you could use Braum seat brackets (in my opinion) because they’re wider but they’re more expensive from what I can remember
Do you remember what bolts you used to mount the bracket to the seats ?
I reused the OEM bolts to mount the seat to the floor. As for the brackets to the seat, I think they came with hardware.

Yes! Although I would say the OEM seats retract better. Feel more sturdy and smooth.

I decided on not getting these just because they aren't set up for a harness but whatever is seems to be just about as heavy as my stock seats for some reason or very vague when it comes to that type of information
I personally felt the seats were a lot lighter than stock. My stock ones were really heavy!
How did you get the seatbelt though the seat?
I disconnected the seatbelt from the bottom bolt near the floorboard. Passenger side is a little more intricate. You’ll need to remove the side panel near the rear seat to remove the bolt completely
how safe are these seats vs like braum seats
I couldn’t tell you but they feel sturdy from what I’ve experienced for the past few months.

I’m 5’8. My buddy Jacob is 6’0 and sits in it comfortably. Seats are great! Still have them with minor wear and tear as expected

Those look just like the corbeau seats. I wonder if they will hold up as well as a more expensive reclining seat in a crash. That's my only concern. Sucks you have to modify the expensive brackets. For $1200 you can just get corbeau with brackets. Uggghhh! i'm trying to talk myself out of the cheap seats.
I completely understand your concern and I was on the same boat as you. After reading the reviews on Amazon and doing extensive amounts of homework on this, I pulled the trigger on these seats and I haven’t looked back since. They work just as advertised and look absolutely amazing! The seats are lighter than the stock ones though that’s what you would expect without an airbag in the seat. Whatever your gut tells you to do, follow through with it! Corbeau or the Amazon seats, they both are great imo
Which dimensions did you chose from the 3 options
I don’t remember there being 3 options to choose from but I measured the length, width, and height from the old seat to the new one

I didn’t weigh them but they’re noticeably WAY lighter than the stock ones

@@LoganScott. No issue here, but one of the seats I got was in bad shape and am currently awaiting a replacement. The one that was in decent shape isn't half bad for as cheap as these seats are.

I bouth braum seats but they are trash, no padding at all and they started to peel off. And they arived with all the same sided brackets
These seats are nice! I actually was able to feel Braum seats a month ago and I will say the quality is better on it. For the price of the Amazon, I can’t complain
