- After having started building the truck in the last episode, it's time to complete it! However, it doesn't go as smoothly as one might have hoped, and we have a lot of work cut for us...
With the release of the Automatons update, it was finally time to start a brand new survival series in Space engineers, and this time, it will be completed. Keep in mind: This is a modded series, but is still as vanilla as possible, with the mods only serving to give the environment life.

In total as of 2019 the game has sold over 3.5 million copies In May 2015, for approximately a year and a half, the game's source code was officially available and maintained by KSH to assist the modding community. On December 15, 2016, the game entered Beta and was later officially released on February 28, 2019.

Just a bit of feedback: I have really enjoyed your videos so far. I think your cadence and focus are very refreshing. When you build something you clearly know what you are doing. When you go to creative and build, then come back I lost something. It isn't fun watching you print a ship, it is fun watching you design it. I understand the frustration of building in survival over creative - I personally only build in survival so I know the pain.
As a middle ground, let me suggest you make a video of you designing the ship in creative and splice that in-between so it doesn't feel so disconnected. Otherwise it feels like a ship you got off the workshop.
Just my two cents.
It is a great suggestion and I fully understand how you feel. I was thinking about it, but thought people might not like it, but now I see its otherwise. Will do so next time 👍
First, I recommend moving the decoy so you don't risk running into it.
Second, put a blast door piece on top of it so the blast door piece gets damaged first by strikes.
Eventually, you're going to want to set up a welder to constantly weld the blast door/decoy combo. You'll probably want to put that up high and away from you - on top of one of the refineries is a good place here.
It lacks a landingplatform for a miningdrone on top, gyros and a parachuts for cliffs. I learnt that the hardway.
That's a pretty sweet truck design. I like playing survival style, but I do wish I'd have spent more time ironing out builds in creative mode at times. Definitely has its advantages.
Thank you very much! Yeah it took a long time figuring it out, but now that its done, its pretty sweet. Got a name for it?
@@AliceDoesThings404 Ursa comes to mind, being a big ol' bear of a rover.
Good suggestion 👍
Half the fun of this game is the design and building process... BUT... It is a process...
I spent 26hrs recently designing and building a ship and didn't even realize how long it took until after.
Great series and I am really enjoying your videos!
It really is, I've spent weeks trying to design something, only for it to not work out and be thrown in the garbage, so I get the feeling. And I am glad you are enjoying it! 🙃
Name suggestion- The Buffalo
I went out of town just seen video but I like the truck and sometimes build grid is the way so in other word That Is The Way
The beginning of cockpit frame reminds me of some of the older Russian military trucks.
And wow... what a glorious truck. To keep with the animal theme, why not call it Rhino or something along those lines?
Now that you mention it, I actually see it. And Rhino is definitely a good name 👍
NEXT TIME, JUST BUILD A GRINDING STATION. HAHA..sorry for caps. Lol
Patience, coming soon 🙃
Build suggestion- add a hazard sign on the ramp s on it’s not just plane white on the side adds texture to the build
Are you going to be releasing this design onto the workshop?
I'll release it tomorrow 👍
