Just a little over 320 miles one way and round trip about 750 with all the riding around I did in the Texas Hill County. No I'm not better than anyone else. Lol. It was comfortable for me. Are there better comfortable ride yes of course. Just wanted to comment. Keep up the good work on your videos. To everyone else please be safe on the roads . 🙏

    31000 miles 2013 CVO Breakout, I've had it for 3 1/2 years and love doing twisty roads with it. I ride it for hours. 3 to 8 hours per ride minimum, Tail of the Dragon, Foothills Parkway. I do drag my pegs but if you ain't dragging you ain't riding. Love the power of my 110 Twin Cam. Keeping the rubber side down.

    I personally love mine and I have ZERO ISSUES with 4 or 5 hour rides.
    It corners little less than the dresser bikes but it's just fine for me.
    The only thing that would be a negative and I mean the ONLY negative is the rear tire is expensive and wears out quickly if you ride hard.
    That's it.

    I have a 21 RGS and a 16 CVO Prostreet Breakout. I think the Prostreet handles better than the standard Breakout because of the 19 inch front wheel and inverted front forks. RIDICULOUS! Frowning this bike because of the factory pegs that haven’t been replaced is STUPID! Really your a rider and know swapping out the peg is not a problem to get better clearance I have a 2015 Breakout with a tire shredder build on it from 103 to a 110 @110 horse with 121 ft lbs of torque not thee quickest but quick enough for SURE! The only minor thing I have with it is taking the brunt of the wind as there is nothing up front blocking it but others have put 1/4 breaks on it or some type of shield/fairing on it to somewhat diminish the wind blast I have just gotten used to it. When I bought mine I knew it was more for me than a passenger so I’m okay with limited space I did however change up the hardware on the back added docking bolts for a seat/backrest quick connect for a rider so when I peg the throttle they don’t fly off! Revisiting the lean angle the chicken strip on my 240 is pretty slim so you can get into turns better after you’ve switched up the pegs it is a great bike and I love mine it is a shame that Harley killed it’s production but they have been guilty of making bad decisions before hope that changes here in the future keep ridin!

  • @kenhunter6778
    @kenhunter6778 Před 9 měsíci

    Great video, I have the 2018 with the 114 M8. There is a big difference in ride, weight and stability compared to the 2017 because of a change to the frame. 2018 is 35 lbs. less, no motor mounts, will rarely scrape , stable at high speeds (no issues at 130 mph, so far), mono-shock frame, a crap 3 gallon tank that wont fill properly in California, take corners better. I've taken it on distance rides a few times with a fairing while averaging above 100 mph for over 1000 miles in two days while stopping every 100 miles for fuel with no fatigue. You cannot base all breakouts on a 2017.

  • @Ironhorse360DEG
    @Ironhorse360DEG Před rokem +2

    yes, harley says they canceled the breakout. but i disagree, they renamed it. in my opinion, they canceled the fatboy, and continued the breakout.
    compare the (new) fatboy to the breakout. all the specs are roughly the same. they put a bigger front tire on the breakout, and solid rims, so they can call it a fatboy.
    they both have the short rear fender, the 240mm rear tire, i'm sure the same seat, and either drag bars, or the small buckhorn handle bars.
    the (new) fatboy may not have the rake the breakout did. the breakout went to a 3.5 gallon tank, and the (new) fatboy has a 5 gallon tank.
    so they have brought back the bigger tank, and added the fat front tire.
    you should review the 2013 CVO breakout with the screamin eagle 110. i own a 2012 fatboy with the 103. a true fatboy has full fenders, a large headlight, and a lot of power.
    i've bored you long enough,
