    I definitely like the oval light. I really dig what Harley Davidson has done with the Breakout, Low Rider ST, Sportster S, Pan America and now the Road Glide ST.

    If you were going to check out a bike on some curves, you need to just do a little bit more than turning right and left at a street corner don’t you think. I thought you might actually be able to get to a curvy road somewhere where you could get some throttle in on the curves. Just a thought.

    Im close to pulling the trigger on a 2024 but can't decide between the billiard grey, vivid black and white. They all look so sexy and I prefer the graphics colors of the billiard grey and white over the black with orange. But man, I don't think any of them are the wrong answer but I can't believe how much I like the billiard grey option and it's the cheapest so that doesn't hurt either. It's like the best of black and white, a good middle ground between those colors but with its own personality. I love the chrome with the black backdrops of the entire bike. Chrome looks so good on this bike and I usually never go chrome but the chrome is what really attracts me to the new Breakout!

    I was initially disappointed with this one because it’s nothing but an exercise in style points. But once I realized, that’s exactly the point of it. I realized that Harley nailed it with this one. The 117 was a master stroke! The big 21” front wheel, the raked out forks, the chrome, forward controls, the bigger tank. The only thing that could hurt sales of this bike is that price tag. Ouch!! If I had $$$ to burn, I would definitely grab one up! I love the black one, but that orange is hard to beat too.

      @@vanhaver5150 Sportsters were notorious for vibration. The motor was bolted directly to the frame,.Now for example my 1988 fxr the motor is rubber mounted which minimizes the the vibration. The first twin cams had vibration issues so I'm told. Then they brought out the twin cam "b" which had balancers in the engine minimized vibration. Of course all the older models ie shovels would've vibrated like a dog shittn razor blades.l would imagine the m8s are sorted out?

    • @IronBornRider
      @IronBornRider  Před rokem +3

      They're both great Harleys, but I think it's going to depend on your style of riding. The Fatboy cruises so easily and is insanely comfortable to me, and the Breakout is just more aggressive and begs to be ridden hard. Just my opinion.

    Is that 117 rubber mounted? Is it balanced? Those two factors eliminate handlebar vibration, and if not, rubber bushings in the handlebars where they're mounted should help.
    I've got an unbalanced Merch 120 in a non-rubber mounted Reily oil-in-frame chopper, and it's shaken off no less than 3 sets of mirrors! Just a mental note for any future scoots I might own when I hit the lottery! 😅

    The turns you took don't represent the criticism people voice about the fat tire motorcycles. If you take way sharper turns, let's say turning into a side street, then you will feel the massive difference between let's say a Street Bob and the Breakout/Fat Boy.

    • @IronBornRider
      @IronBornRider  Před rokem +1

      I’d agree its not as nimble as the streetbob but to me the breakout seemed to handle the turns just fine. Sure it takes a little more effort but it wasn’t as exaggerated as I thought It would be

No, but it's no slouch and I can actually rip into every corner with no problem. I did at one point have a 2021 Fatboy and that bike certainly was not a good handling bike. I ended up selling the Fatboy because I thought that it would give me in trouble in a corner one day.

    Bla bla bla the only problem is that is an Harley Davidson and that by itself simple sucks, thanks but not thanks, enjoy your ride!!!! There are way way way better Japanese made motorcycles out there, nothing like having a 4 or even 6 inline engines, like the very good old days!!!! They are just amazing, just music to the years to hear those engines, Harley Davidson they make that disgusting extremely annoying loud noise!! I absolutely hate them!!!!! They sound like last century old harvesters!! Truly disgusting!!!
