    What seat would you recommend to reach the controls better? I looked at Corbin but I want something comfy but a good reach seat that helps lower the height ladened. I'm trying to avoid lowering the clearance itself unless it is absolutely needed. Any advice would be awesome, I've only rode sports so far so this is my first on a Harley.

    I have a 2023 Vulcan S and luv it. The only negative I can think of is the seat. My butt starts to hurt after about an hour of non-stop riding. I think the fact that on a cruiser, where your feet are out in front of you, all your weight is on your butt. Also, the seat is not that soft. You can buy other seats or a cushion will help. On the positive side, the bike has adjustable clutch and front brakes. A site glass to check your oil level, positive neutral finder, and the ergo-fit system, where the foot pegs, handlebars and seat are adjustable. Over all, a great bike!

    First new bike remorse. The payments mean that you can't afford to put fuel in it to travel out away from your neighborhood. You're scared to scratch it or get stone chips on it. You've got a beautiful bike to show off and you can't ride it anywhere. I've been there, seduced by the magazine and CZcams shills and had to buy an old carburetted bike to actually have fun on. Save your money and buy something you can afford to buy tools and a workshop manual to do essential maintenance on. Everything with efi and an ecu keeps you shackled to the stealerships.

    You know, Indian is producing some awesome bikes, but until they can produce a dealership experience on par with the bikes, im sticking with my Harley. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which has a decent sized metro area, and the dealership here shares with BMW and Honda! If they have 4 different Indian models on the floor, it's a good day. On the Harley side, we have two full sized dealerships in town to choose from. Indian can't even provide one.

    • @IronBornRider
      @IronBornRider Před 3 dny

      Yeah the dealership support is lacking for sure with Indian in terms of number of dealerships. Although Harley has been closing down a lot of dealerships lately too, hopefully it doesn’t keep going in that direction

    • @jasonparker5687
      @jasonparker5687 Před dnem

      In terms of customer service, my dealership experience was the exact opposite. I stopped in the local Harley dealership, walked around actively checking out bikes and price tags, and zero of the five employees came up to me to offer help and whatnot. It’s what made me go check out the Indians. And the customer service at Indian was a stellar experience. So much so that I’m on my second Indian bike. I just upgraded from my 2023 Scout to the new Scout 101. Absolutely painless process with constant communication and updates on the status of the bike’s availability. I live in northern New England so the ratio of Harley to Indian dealerships isn’t that far off.

All that electronic stuff is not what I want on my motorcycle. I like my analog gauges and such. You can't even replace the headlight on these. Since they dropped the evo Sportsters, they lost a lot of business. I see 1 year old nightsters all over the pre owned market. So, even when someone buys it, they immediately trade it in.
