How To Make Panko Syrup Pack Bait Recipe Fishing For Carp and Catfish.
Panko aka bread is well known for being a favorite of carp and catfish. Most pack bait recipes using panko require cream corn causing it to go bad shortly after its been made. We experimented and found a way to use corn syrup in this panko bait. We think this syrup panko pack bait recipe will be a great way to make your panko last while fishing for carp or catfish.

Nice 🎣 👍 mix Josh. You can also use this mix in, P.V.A bags or Mesh . As you didn't add any water to the mix. So for longer range casting, it is ideal. As packing it around the ( lead ) sinker weight. It can break up on impact of hitting surface ( or mid flight ) . Dispersing it every where , & you hook bait is sitting all alone 😔.
Yes it would work well in a pva bag. I pack my bait around the hook bait itself instead of the sinker. Allot of people that use pack bait do have issues throwing it off. Ive done it so long it's like second nature I've tested allot of the baits at the football field casting over 100 yards walk down and recast it over a 100 yards without repacking it. I always tell people that if they are having issues throwing there bait off then more then likely when it doesn't fly off it explodes on impact when it hits the water in turn causing the catch rate to be poor. I tell them once they get the packing part down there catches will go up drastically.

Usually use a plain kix this year haven't been out much and using a bead only still catching

Panko syrup pack bait and the pick up was just a bead on the hook

I would say about any time as long as the water is a little above freezing it should break down. So spring summer and fall it should do really well
