How to make a Chow Oats combo Pack bait fishing recipe for carp and catfish. In this video I decided to make a pack bait using a couple different items. Oats and Chow are both a great bait choice for fishing. So why not put the two together. This bait will catch carp and catfish alike. Chow is well known at paylakes and oats are well known in the wild as well as paylakes. I have other videos uploaded on chow pack baits as well as oats pack baits and different ways to make them. In this video I use the ingredients below
1 Tube old fashioned oats
1lb size 2 chow
16 ounces Karo Syrup
hawg sauce banana supreme

I pack around my hook bait but some do pack it around the sinker
Have you tried two cans of bread with your oats and soybean and cream corn
Ive used cream corn in every pack bait i have ever made. I like the idea of the syrup but from your experience what does it do to your catch rate? Corn can be hard to beat some times.
I've used both and I don't feel there is any difference in catch rate personally. Give it a try see what you think
we make these way our falls off when we put around pick up on the hook. what am I do wrong...

basically forever. If it dries out just add a little more syrup
How do you think cream corn will work instead of syrup with this recipe?
I think it would probably work just fine bad part is it would go bad.

I'd say you could cast it as hard as you want. Packed great just like other syrup baits
Hold on later on in the year? My family fishes the same pay lakes y'all do and normally we let our pack sit a day or two. How long until later in the year do you plan on waiting?

What would you recomend to use if you don't have corn syrup
If you want it to last basically forever you need syrup. If your not worried about that use a can of cream corn. If its a little too dry add just a little liquid not much

I've never had an issue haven't made any up this year though. Its possible the oats could be different
