Love ALL your videos and especially grateful for this one. Sciatica snuck up on me recently. Fascia stretches have been helping and now Block Therapy for the win. I was lying on my left side last night on a rolled up yoga blanket. I didn’t have to search for pain-it found me immediately 😅

Hi there! You are welcome! When muscles cramp they are trying to draw more oxygen in. Blocking around the area, and the area directly will help.

Thank you for this answer much appreciated. I’m going to try to do that. I noticed that it gets worse if I had some wine, even though I drink very little I’m just trying to see if I don’t drink at all it gets better

The Block Buddy is designed for people over 5ft tall, and we suggest the Block Baby for those under 5ft.

How/why would this not crush or irritate the sciatic nerve?

Hi there! In Block Therapy we teach to put only as much pressure into the block as you can comfortably breathe through. Using this strategy we can never do anything to our bodies that will cause damage. Our breath is always our guide. The goal is pressure over time to melt through adhesions in the area. This is a gentle, persuasive practice.

I have been working on this since June and I still have a lot of pain. Is that normal?
