The best EP of the blog/buzz band/pitchfork hype days. Lost most of it's magic when they rerecorded for the LP but this version still transports me back to that wistful freshman year of college
wizard of ahhs version is the best. they should have kept this lo-fi aesthetic, it sounded great. sigh, i remember in '07 being hyped on this ep. good memories.
This sounds a lot better than they did on jools holland. They were quite shocking. this however is quite decent. good sound, I like the ambient guitars, very haunting. Nice3 :)
I was having a drought of good music to listen to until I heard Black Kids a few days ago. Fucking awesome band! If I like an album a lot, I buy their album. And I bought the last one at Best Buy today,

@TheDollyTube I believe this is their last album they released, and their first. If you check out their Wikipedia page, it states that they are working on a new album.
You mean the secondary percussion or just the fact that there's a bridge? Something strange does seem to happen to the secondary percussion at the beginning but it may be other instruments drowning part of the rhythm out. Sounds fine once the bridge kicks in. Great song though. My favorite BK song so far.

I am happy that you were there WAY before me,but I jumped on before "boyfriend" I get why you feel that way. Having been a Death Cab fan from 1999,I can see it.
