There's a great product I use on Cars as well as the Harley called "Restore" $9.99 at Walmart etc. that protects the Plastic parts against our Florida Sun. It works and I highly recommend, I've used it for years. Try it as it saves the plastic parts from drying out and cracking and keeps it Shining like New.
I used to have aprillia Havana 125 scooter basically the vespa ET4 stroke engine & could keep up with inexperienced sport bike riders on the street great fun in the sun.
Just stay on the defensive driving the scooter. You know how it is. Ppl don’t see a bike or don’t pay attention. A spill on that could be just as bad as a big bike. Question: paint the seat isn’t it leather or some kinda Naugahyde ?? Nice video Dan.
Hey I just found tile video just got me a Chinese scooter was wondering how you got a phone mount on your scooter mines stock and I have nowhere I can imagine to put a phone mount driving me crazy
It's pretty high for a Chinese engine they normally only last 7 to 10,000 miles Before needing a complete rebuild depending on how you've been driving it and changing the oil
@@IFixShet I have taken great care of it in terms of oil usually change it every 600 miles just needs air filter replaced haven’t ever replaced it yet and it ticks a bit might needs valves done but runs good and the belt is still in good condition crazy how it can just die at 7k when it’s running good at 6k
@@troyholland3436 It's only because the bearings are cheap inside the internal workings of the engine. Those parts are put under a lot of heat stress and because they're low quality parts they will just break at some point and fall apart and crumble inside the engine and when that happens catastrophic engine failure takes place this is why changing your oil and using good oil is a must. These engines are built out of pot metal Not like a real honda engine
@@IFixShet ya I use good oil 10w40 Kawasaki synthetic there has been a time where I accidentally put non synthetic but then switched back to synthetic not sure if that’s bad theres also been a couple times I’ve had the oil a bit too low or full but I’ve done good taking care of it just a few dumb moments but I change the oil frequently just need to change the air filter

I do not I had a friend that worked at my shop that did Harleys I just stick with low displacement engines
