Grew up with the Os, even though I lived in Houston. My coach loved them, and then I moved to Bawlmer in time to see the end of Brooks Robinson’s career, the amazing 70s dominance of Jim Palmer et al, 83 Series, bought a house next to Memorial Stadium, sneaked into a bunch of games in the 8th or 9th inning to see Greg Olsen close, love Orioles Park (genius to leave the warehouse standing), swear I can see Babe Ruth’s dad pouring cheap whiskey at a bar in center field, BEST franchise in MLB.
The Orioles are stacked from Majors to Minors.
Player development is awesome.
Scouting and drafting is awesome.
Leadership is awesome.
New 30 Year lease at OPCY.
Upcoming renovations at OPCY.
And now with these new owners, we will likely be able to sign long-term contracts to retain our guys, and get a few free agents.

I've been an O's fan since the 4 twenty game winners in the early 70's when I was 9 or 10. I've got so many worthless stats in my head (lol!) from those days I can't believe it myself. I'm more excited in my old age for these young players than I have ever been in all my years being a hard core O's fan. All of you young fans take note! Because it doesn't happen like this all that often.

@@mattsapero1896 absolutely agree that I am excited more than I was watching the 79 and 83 teams in the World Series. I was 8 years old and 79 and I was excited then but I am so much more excited now than ever before
Orioles have the #1 farm system since 2021, #1 stadium according tomato the fan polls, manager of the year and 101 wins last year, we have the MVP (Gunnar), the Rookie of the Year (Cowser), most home runs, bullpen bursting with talent and our aces aren’t even back yet(!), the third longest no-sweep streak in history of MLB (101), a new owner ready to spend money and a redevelopment plan coming for the stadium area. #OriolesDynasty
Well, they’re definitely the most entertaining team in MLB. I say this as a Phillies fan.
Hopefully it will be another battle of the beltways!

Re: Holliday, all of the Orioles players struggle and stumble a bit at first and then kick ass. Also, all of those pitchers were clearly gunning for him.
None of those guys struggled as hard as holiday and his fielding didn’t redeem either. Obviously he is talented but probably a victim of the hype train. But there is concern in the organization I’m sure.

@@treydiz2103 I love the bird logo, no issues there, it’s the white front panels with the orange brim when the rest is black, just really not my style at all. If the whole cap was black, or black with an orange brim it’d be one thing but the tritone doesn’t work for me.
@@Azeriathat’s not the only cap they have. they have all black with an orange O, all black with the cartoon bird, all black with the ornithologically correct bird, a black and white O hat, the black and white city connect hats with the B… you have a lot of choices

I agree 100% my only concern is is that they don't have enough dark hatred. I mean I remember those Royals teams and Yankees and other teams that I saw that just had dark fire when they needed it. And I look at how they folded in the postseason last year, they have a coach who's a great regular-season coach maybe the best but in the postseason absolutely goes like buck sho & John Harbaugh last season and in 2019 and loses his mind and overthinks it 12:42

Meh. The pitching leaves a lot to be desired. They can score runs but when you have to do that all the time you should t rely on that. But yeah the Os are fun and it’s great to see them doing well. Remember watching on HTS and listening on WBAL back in the day. Hopefully they can sustain.
