I'm jealous of people that have a vision for design like this I have the wood working skills but never developed the design skills. Beautiful work 👏
David, you can slowly develop a sense of design. The trick is every time you see something you like, look at it for a long time and really try to understand what it is you like about it. Is it shapes, colors, textures angles etc? Keep thinking about it and then try to integrate those elements into something you do.

That is some seriously beautiful woodworking. My great grandad built a 2 story Victorian with a wrap around porch by cutting, seasoning and tongue and grooving it all himself. That house is still standing, built before 1900. Your home is just as amazing!

I just watched it again. So cool to look back at all the projects. Mike you are a true craftsman. I had forgotten some of the fine touches you put into every detail along the way. When I found your channel years ago you were in the middle of the cabin build. I went back and started watching from the beginning and enjoyed every one. This was a great recap of the project to date. Great idea. It was fun the see all your hair style changes over the years. Lol. My favorite part was the tool belt scene with 27 pencils going in every pocket! Funny part is not being able to find one the next day, if you’re like me with my projects.
