These chocolates are not only known for their smooth, mouth-watering, and luxurious taste but also their high-end prices. Although many of them can only be afforded by the elite, they're still on the "must-try" lists of many chocolate lovers.
    10. Marcolini- $102.50 per pound
The Marcolini chocolate owes most of its success to its strong European origin and patronage.
The owner, Pierre Marcolini, is one of the few chocolatiers to roast his cocoa beans himself.
If you think that's not a big deal - think again- From appearing in the popular Oprah Show to running an extensive and innovative product line, this Belgian gourmet chocolatier has its unique taste and pattern of chocolates gotten from the finest cocoa beans in Indonesia, Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, and Madagascar. Pierre Marcolini personally travels around the world to buy cocoa beans directly from its growers, but that's not all - he also ensures he's involved in every step of the production. Talk about quality service to taste buds.
    9. Richart- $120 per pound
Originally from Lyon, France, Richart chocolate was commissioned in 1925 and is now known across the US, Europe, and even Tokyo. Famous for its rich dark chocolates, Richart chocolates come from beans found in Madagascar, Haiti, and Venezuela. Known for its many flavors, it features delicious options from floral to fruity, citrus, herbal, and spiced ones. These special flavors are already enough to win the hearts of its many fans, but this chocolate still has something up its delicious sleeves. It also comes with unique occasion assortments of small chocolates (petit), each hidden under a chocolate plaque with an engraved message!
    8. The Aficionado's Collection- $275 per box
It's fair to say that smoking is on the decline. With all the recent findings on how harmful it is for the lungs and other parts of the body, it's not so hard why it's gotten such a bad reputation. These days, the cons of smoking may far outweigh its pros, which is sadder if you're the type that likes to get a quick smoke sesh going on whenever you can. Well, if you look eating chocolate and smoking cigars, you can do the same now for the price of one- and you don't even need a lighter. The house of Grauer's Aficionado's collection cigar is looks and smells exactly like a fine original Cuban cigar. Wrapped in cigar leaves, these special chocolates provide the rich, smoky cigar fragrance with no nicotine effect.
    7. Delafee- $508 per pound
Coming in at a little over $500, this tempting Swiss chocolate is a little bit on the high side, but it's totally worth it. If you're a fan of the Golden lifestyle - Golden Dubai Lamborghinis, the Golden Tulip hotel, and chocolate sparkling with gold, this chocolate was made just for you. Popularly known for its Golden Truffle grand cru chocolate, Delafee created this perfect blend of chocolate matter using the finest Ecuador cocoa beans hand-garnished with real edible 24-karat gold flakes. If you've ever wondered what eating gold tastes like- here's your chance. Each piece of this chocolate is thoroughly wrapped in an eye-catching golden wrapper. A box of this chocolate comes with a real non-edible collectible Swiss gold coin from 1910-1920, so all that price isn't just for fancy chocolate
    6. Noka Vintages Collection- $854 per pound
Noka Vintage is known as one of the best chocolate brands for a few reasons. First, it offers a vintage collection of chocolates gotten 75% pure cocoa beans found in plantations in Trinidad, Ecuador, Cote d'Ivoire, and Venezuela. Secondly, unlike most others, this chocolate doesn't have soy lecithin or vanilla, making it one of the world's purest chocolates. Forbes magazine has tagged the Noka Vintage Collection as one of the most expensive chocolates in the world, which is not surprising considering the $854 price tag the Canadian-owned company slammed on the chocolate. But when you sell molded chocolates and truffles made with single-origin chocolate, you can call your chocolate any price, and people would still troop in to get a taste.

Have you ever tried that chocolate or you just assume its tasty and delicous? Its because of the illusion that gives you ''GOLD'' You can also buy that decoration and a chocolate for a few bucks...and it will for sure be still your favorite 1.I bet on the taste not on the illusion of decoration.Because in life sometimes we see something its beautiful for eyes...but not for other senses.

I agree with you that gold is not meant to be eaten. It is a decorative metal and does not offer any nutritional value, consuming gold can be harmful to your health as it can accumulate in your body and cause problems. Better stick to tasty food!😉

While it may not be to everyone's taste, it is important to remember that different people have different preferences and it is okay to enjoy splurging on something that brings us joy and pleasure, whether it is homemade sweets or luxurious chocolate.

@@impressive2847 Agreed.BUT wrapping chocolate in gold is a piece that brings very high price that a chocolate does not deserve to have.Puting a golden or diamond decoration on the sweets is dumb as it looks. Why?For a few reasons...decoration cannot be eaten and it serves only to look pretty...and you can have it and keep it for memory that you ate a chocolate worth like milion dollar. It is dumb as it looks. So are you selling me golden and diamond decoration or a chocolate? What is the reason for putting presents and golden or jewelry decoration in sweets?Because they dont know how chocolate can worth so many money and to still be just a chocolate that you eat in a minute or two.So they have dumb skills for marketing giving gold, diamonds and blabla stuff...Its not the chocolate that is worth that much but the extra stuff that is not for eating and its like a present with the chocolate. So I think its very dumb to put a price like 10 thousand or my god a million dollar on a candy bar.But I do understand that it is made for people who are rich and want to show others how they have money and someone dont have money for bread. Its simple and mind limited!!! So it is made for people who dont care how much it costs or is it really worth that money? Its like a commercial stuff and promotion of rich crocodile society to show how much money they have comparing to other layers of the society.Comparison to this? You have ordinary ferrari or lamborghini and you have the same two cars but in gold. Its like a gipsy style...I want a house with lion, dragon, saint figures to show others that Im elite. But its a waste of money and its dumb to show someone you have money but dont have a sense of style and taste for architecture. The same stuff that happens on gipsy weddings...where they start throwing money on the musicians and on the floor. Why would someone do that?To show gratitude for musicians?'''NO'" but to show how mind limited he is and how dumb he is.I have a money and you dont...thats why I like to waste my money for no reason of use...wont help the poor,sick,blind...in poverty or else...but I will show the society that Im rich and stupid. So this kind of stuff is made for people who want to expose their financial status in the society. That chocolate can be bade with all ingredients for maybe couple 100 of dollar or less...but putting stupid stuff on it like gold leaf,diamonds...is the price of decoration and not the chocolate.I can buy ordinary extra cheap chocolate for a few bucks and wrap it in golden foliage and say ''This chocolate is worth 10000 dollars'' Really?Who would say.I understand that there are high quality and taste sweets that can worth some extra money but doing stuff like golden decoration is pure for...dont know how to find a word for that in english. But in serbian we say ''Proseravanje''
