- Hi everyone! I am always in the thrift shops looking for high end home decor on a budget. But this week I'm showing you a fun and easy home decor DIY you can do without even hitting the thrift shops! I tried three different paper mache pottery projects out of the easiest and fastest DIY paper mache mixture ever using TOILET PAPER. This is the easiest high end home decor dupe! You'll want to give this a try at home!

Paper Mache RECIPE:
-1 double roll of toilet paper, soaked and torn completely
-hot tap water
-1/2 c white glue
-1.5 c flour
-3 tbsp salt

00:27 - paper mache bowl
06:00 - paper mache beads
12:28 - paper mache toothpick holder

I've been wanting to make a paper mache bowl for a long time, but it seemed so hard. You made it so simple with the toilet paper. I ordered flour with my grocery delivery and I'm going to finally give it a try. I really enjoy your channel!

Hi Tasha...So fun...you did a great job. I bought a bag of something at an estate sale and I think I just added water. I made a little tray and tied rope around it. I m definitely going to try your way. I love the bead idea...very popular amd not cheap. You are so creative. ❤❤❤

Love the bowl, love the organic shape! The beads look really cool, love the color. You could also put some wooden beads between.. round beads or even those octagon shaped ones, or even a color like red and green for Christmas decor..just a thought 🤷♀️ I liked them on the dough bowl too! I really like the toothpick holder, great idea! I see interior designers using paper mache pieces in their decor pretty often. Thanks for sharing, loved all your pieces.. now i'm gonna have to try it😊
Thanks! Agreed, I thought of putting wood beads in between and went without on this one. But now I want to make more of them and see they look like strung back to back without spacing. 😋

You may have mentioned it and I missed it, but did all of those projects come from the 1 roll of bathroom tissue, or only the bowl from the 1 roll?
Love these! I have been thinking of trying papier-mâché, but it always sounded complicated. This looked so easy that I think I will give it a try.
The bowl was from one double roll and then the beads, toothpick holder, (and actually a tray that I decided not to feature) all came from the second double roll. 😊 Give it a shot!

Hello Tasha, this is off subject, but I live in Raleigh and watch you all the time. But you mention the goodwill bins often, and I can’t seem to find one in Raleigh or Durham. Can you suggest one please? Thank you.
When I'm referencing the goodwill bins I'm talking about the bin tables within regular Goodwill stores, where they keep the linens and pillows etc. There is not a Goodwill outlet store that I know of in R/D although there is one in Greensboro. There is however an outlet thrift store Durham Rescue Mission runs on S. Alston Ave in Durham 😊
