  • Acquired a new Inspire 2 from DJI, but this time I have a SSD and both licenses! ProRes and CinemaDNG.
I think it makes a huge difference! What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Another solid vid! Eddie. Pro res looked better to me, but honestly, it’s hard to tell viewing from iPad.
I sold my I2 w/x4s about a month ago, just wasn’t a need for it; not even commercially, at least for me. It was a blast to fly, though.
    Keep’em coming!

Al Diaz Thanks Al! This drone is such a beast! I found this one at a great price with the SSD and both licenses, couldn’t resist. I know you probably miss the power this thing has, no one understands the feeling when you make this bird go.... it moves! When it gets a little warmer I will do the same video again but at a more scenic location, maybe a waterfall.

Nice Eddie! Looks good! I think I preferred the ProRes also..but like Al said it’s hard to tell on this device..will have to check on my monitor after. Thanks for sharing

Cool. I loved it. Both versions looked good but the pro res did look nice though. Awesome clips regardless!

Question: I converted a short ProRes RAW clip to CinemaDNG (on my MacBook Pro running Monterey 12) that was shot on my Nikon Z6 that I want to Color Grade in DaVinci (which I have yet to installed on my new ProArt laptop (running under System 11)
The output is _000001 thru _000299.dng files - each 8.4MB - so are they meta-files that are imported into Resolve as a “group”??? If not, what’s the next step in processing this - single - video clip?

It should import it as a group. I use Adobe premiere pro, and it groups it

Yes, and I learned that the 299 files are - each - frame generated by my short clip so they can be processed as a group! Thanx
