Gm forgot to mention the severe overheating issues. My sisters engine overheated still after replacing almost everything in the cooling system.

Bleed the cooling system. Probably a pocket of air. Or by pass heater core

Great video ihartmacz, I just installed a timing belt on my 1996 Z34 Monte Carlo - I marked all the timing places on the belt, sprockets and crankshaft - to Top Dead Center I also removed the sparkplug of the TDC cylinder . I also used Kent-Moore Hold Down Clamps for the camshafts ( Front & Back) to keep everything in place. The problem is when i rotated the engine after completing the belt installation everything lined up excepted exhaust left or rear camshaft the one nearest the firewall that i removed the spark plug from, it off quit a bit. Can I use the Kent-Moore Hold Down tool to adjust it to the correct setting mark? turning it engine forward with the belt removed solo? Thanks

@kohenbutterfield4412 if you agree then why post a comment saying no lmao don't play dumb you are being unnecessarily confusing

@kohenbutterfield4412 the name 3400 implies a different design of engine there are 3 different types of gm 3.4 v6 from back then so you shouldn't just Willy nilly call them whatever as it confuses people

Oh my lord can someone help me. There's some vacuum thing coming out of the exhaust on the front of the engine towards the cabin. One of the nipples broke off of mine and every mechanic and myself have no idea what it is. I've been looking for days online now. I have a 95 cutlass supreme convertible. The nipple that broke off looks loke it runs down towards the transmission but i cant see all the way down to be sure. It also makes my car idle about 300 rpm higher when it's not hooked up
