Hold the Volume button and the fast forward button down until the head unit restarts. That will alleviate you from pulling over and restarting the vehicle.

I've noticed the issue. I solved it by connecting my phone se2 before starting the truck. Works every time that way. At least for me.

You can recommend the truck all you want, but you better recommend it to people with LOTS of patience. I have now been waiting 535 days for a Hybrid I ordered in October of 2021. It is supposedly being built this week so, barring any train wrecks in 3000 miles, I might actually get it next month.

I just gave up looking. I have a 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 which I do like, but I would prefer a Maverick. My Ranger is paid for so I will just keep it. I was trying to find the tremor maverick, but the one I found they wanted 8K over MSRP. No f'ing way. I am good with my Ranger.
I ordered mine about the same time as you and received it this past March...so 18 months!
i have a 22 Lariat fx4 with the b&o sound system (and every other option except the sun roof lol) and it makes a WORLD of difference. i’ve pulled up next to people with whole sub boxes and the maverick has just about as much bass as them. just at sound level 14 it shakes the mirrors and you can hear it very clearly from outside the truck i love my maverick and can’t even imagine myself in any other new vehicle haha. love the maverick videos man, keep up the great work!

I haven’t had any problems that you mentioned with my 23, 2.0 Eco, Lariat Lux. But, I ALMOST hit the parked car in front of me when I spun the heater knob instead of the shifter knob, and then I took my foot off the brake. Also, just bought a small travel trailer just to find out there’s a trailer wiring recall (have to jury-rig trailer the running lights). Overall excellent vehicle, was worth the 14mo wait.
I agree! For me it’s hard to change tens of years using traditional shifting methods in trucks to a spinner knob! I do like its convenience although I’m just having trouble getting used to it! Thanks for watching!
I ordered my maverick September 2022, got my notice last month it will be billed the week of May 15, 2023, can’t wait, I’m coming out of a 2022 F2 50, it’s gonna be a big change

Think you can hold down the volume/power button and the forward button to reset it for a few seconds without cycling the ignition.

I’ve heard a lot of people say they enjoy the lariat system!
My Lariat standard system sounded great. But added a Kicker 10" sub (about $300 plus a couple hours of my labor) under the driver seat and is perfect.
Screen froze 300 miles in. I am a service advisor at a dealer. We just ordered a FICM for it.

I will say that Ford really needs to step up there infotainment tech. My freezes about once every week or so. Just enough to be annoying.
Most reviews on the Tremor are positive, but u do have some that wanted to be a rock crawler!

I rented a 2023 Ford Edge. It was a nice ride, but I HATE the shifting knob! It SUCKS! There's nothin pleasing about driving with that stupid thing. Give me my shifter stick!

@@danthecraftman - Most likely not. Every year the listed base keeps increasing - $29K now - that means they will be well over $30K if they ever come out.

@@danthecraftman - I don't feel like researching this again - though I did find out it was the Tacoma that is supposed to have a base of $29K. I have NEVER seen a new Tacoma in the last few years start at $29K. You will find that Toyota keeps pushing the premier date of the Stout further.

Tbh I think it would be no problem. Check out Daniel deliverz, he does this only a few weeks after owning the truck. He’s done a lot of hauling with it and has definitely put the truck to the test in that respect! Thanks for watching and commenting!
My hybrid just did a 3000+ trip from the Midwest to Maine & back in 2 weeks - 41 mpg & zero problems. My only complaint is that the seats are typical Ford with no leg support. It’s basically a flat plank (harkens back to the bench seat).
If you had the chip fixed promptly it never would have expanded. Same for ALL windshields dude.

I have a 2023 XLT Hybrid and think the entire center console is a total waste, the storage sucks, the PRNDL knob is in a bad place (put it up on the dash somewhere, so it will blind you when the sun hits it just right), it also is a BJ stopper... a pull down center arm rest compartment with a split bench is a way better option, even without a center seatbelt... and forget about a quick escape out the passenger side door... and that stupid hole next to the screen sucks too... a second USB outlet would be nice is stead if the mini (who the F uses a mini anyway)... and the 3 massive large buttons that you have to take your eye off the road to use... A Better Idea... think not... I am averaging about 49 mpg... I call the biotch Roz (as I have Area 51 paint, short for Roswell, NM)...

I would never purchase the vehicle with a round knob for the shifter. Weird and not intuitive. The vehicle is not really a truck.

@@DaleDoesItAll Actually I am happy to see this new class of "trucks" becoming popular, perhaps an indication of a return to sanity as most people really do not need a full size dual cab truck. It is that shift knob I hate. I have rented a few Fords with that knob and it alone is sufficinet for a solid pass. The Toyota Stout will have a proper shifter.
