  • In part one of this 3 part restoration video DPM and the team take on a Volvo P1800. The client saw one of our previous videos on CZcams and got in contact for doing his car.
The car arrived with the majority of the metal work done but we carried out gapping to the whole car to ensure all panels had 5mm panel fitment as well as numerous panel shaping.
The car then went for its second blast and epoxy primer and then back to us for filler levelling and Polyester Spray filler.
As usual we take you through each stage in detail as well as giving tips on how we do our work.
    Hope you enjoy

I hope you might find a 1966 Volvo P1800S in automatic transmission version. You must fully restore them making sure they last 3.2 million miles even if you rebuild the engine and carburetor every 900,000 miles.

@@darrengalligan3085 this job came stripped with most of metal work done and the client is doing the fit up (we will fit loose trim) so I’d say around 300-400 hours
