One of the most underrated vocalist of our generation. She's so unappreciated. Sometimes it's just not in the cards to be a superstar no matter how vocally talented one is. She reminds me of Thelma Houston in her vocal prime during the 70's. Thelma could sit down almost every singer we think of in the 70's but besides her big hit, she too was unappreciated.
honestly, she sounds a lot like Whitney. she doesnt have the fullness or weight whitney had vocally but their tones are similar. a STUNNING voice.

She is so flawless with her belting and her head voice transitions! She does give me Whitney somewhat. I heard absolutely no strain or weakness in her belts as she ascends through her belting range.

twistedblktrekie good point. But do you understand the fact that I just love when people have great head voices? I just love the way head voices/falsettos sounds. Ariana isn't someone that I go to for head voices anyway, I think she uses a lot of falsetto instead. Either way, I'm glad we can have a conversation about it. It's got me listening to her mid belts that are amazing

She kinda reminds me of Jazmine Sullivan too, like her grunts and growls. She kinda reminds me of Keke Wyatt to with her belting and chest to head voice transitions as well.
That's interesting that she reminds you of Jazmine. I can hear the comparison between her and Keke, because they both can turn up. Keke is a little more wild with her vocals lol.
Yes, just a tad. Of course Jazmine's voice isn't that...idk, high or that free as Tarralyn is belting. But yes, her and Keke do have similarities, but like you said, not as wild. lol Angelfully
Dave Knight keke does more runs but tarralyn voice is more powerful. Her voice is like a force that hits you.
And keke has ALOT of control too.

Exactly!!! I love her voice, but she’s just all over the place. Strong, powerful but needs to find that soft place then build it up and get it together. But she could blow tho!
