      If that mayor didn't want 6 million ppl on roads at one time, he should have called in the national guard and done a graduated evacuation, beginning with coastal area and working their way out over a period of 2 - 3 days, when it became rather certain it was going to be a devastating storm.

    • @janemilee6702
      @janemilee6702 Před 7 lety +1

      Lark Bird right on!! Make all lanes outbound.. Needed planning two years ago..But anybody could have done better..Any manager could have arranged dozens ,or hundreds of buses in few hours..far Less dangerous for all and cheaper..all pregnant women, elderly,small children, inform people,etc should have been gone.high speed mass transit that takes vehicles would evacuate millions safely.. .Me thinks Houston Mayor Should be tarred and feathered...Not literally...

    This meterologist should be an instructor with the outstanding knowledge he provides

  • @a.katherinesuetterlin3028

    This guy is the closest thing I've seen to John McLaughlin, or Johnny Mac as we call him here in Iowa. He was at KCCI Channel 8 in Des Moines for the last 30+ years. He had to retire due to health issues, but he is/was nationally celebrated as the top meteorologist in the country. So hopefully, this Tim Pandajis takes the torch, because this is probably one of the best explanations I have ever seen of how a hurricane develops and is tracked. It's important information, because after what Houston & surrounding areas just went through, they don't need another storm.
    But wherever Irma hits, it's still not gonna be pretty.
