I absolutely love this run. Andrea was one of the smartest players this show ever had. Signaling the half pendant, and completing a lot of time consuming rooms in great time. I was worried when she was forced to shout all three passwords, but she rocked the rest of the way. And her energy is just infectious. Amazing player!
Definitely one of the most memorable temple runs. Andrea was incredibly smart and fast; and despite losing precious time on multiple accounts: stumbling in several rooms, and entering two she didn't even need to enter, she still made it out with 5 seconds to spare!
This girl knew what she was doing. Aside from the slab failing to drop when she completed the King's Storeroom objective and hindering her she went at a great pace. Even with a production error she still did it. Also waving the half-pendant like that was a smart move even though she ended up doing this herself.
Absolutely dude! She was aware of all her surroundings when she was in there to make sure that in case she got caught, her partner would be prepared. Although, he didn't even need to go into the temple. Also, I think a temple guard was in the Crypt, so by going down into the ledges might have helped her avoid a temple guard allowing her to progress a little further before she had to give the pendant up, but again, she avoided the other two guards, which is impressive!
Wow! Andrea really smashed that epic temple run like a wrecking ball smashing tall towers! She got the lion-headed bracelet outta the temple without even getting taken outta there by a Temple Guard. And her partner didn't even need to have his turn, either! It was one of the closest and most awesome solo temple runs I've ever seen! I mean, come on! A successful solo temple run from a team? Now, THAT'S rare!
I wonder what university she teaches astrophysics at now? Most of the younger players struggle with confidence but she knew exactly what to do when she needed to do it, even with the production error.
Fun fact: this the last Legends episode to be produced and last to broadcast as Kirk usually gives a send off “see you next time in legends of the hidden temple.” But in this episode he doesn’t since this the last episode to film and it ended with a victorious temple run
While it was the last to be aired, this was actually one of the first to be prouduced this season. The final episode produced was The Jewel Encrusted Egg Of Catherine The Great.
@@SmoothCriminal12 you can tell this was the last aired as Kirk’s sign off was edited out. It they did think about doing another season but it didn’t happen cause Nick ordered test pilots for 3 new game shows to be filmed at Universal studios Florida, one of which I believe was Figure It Out.
I bet one was in the Crypt. I think that was the main reason Andrea entered through the ledges, I bet she thought a temple guard was in the Crypt and she saved her pendant for when she got caught in the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Also, Andrea was smart to wave her partner's other half of her pendant when she found it in the King's Storeroom. He didn't need it, because she did it all herself, but that was smart! An epic solo run, and my personal favorite solo run.
I bet he would've because you never know where those temple guards hide, better to grab it and protect yourself then get caught with only half a pendant and be pulled out of the temple.
Nathan Byberg Also if I remember, in the Great Seal Temple Run, Nick was scared right out of the Temple by a Temple Guard in The Tomb Of The Ancient Kings.
You are correct Mark! I hate it when the final temple guard hides in the room that is just one room away from where the treasure is! That always annoyed the hell out of me!
Nathan Byberg Another example would be the Lost Logbooks Temple Run where a Temple Guard in The Pirate’s Cove ended the Temple Run and the Artifact was in The Dungeon.
I believe Andrea is one of the only ones to begin in the ledges this season. Probably a good thing, since the crypt likely had a temple guard and that would've derailed the run since she would've gotten taken out at the room of the ancient warriors.
I like how diligent Andrea was from waving the half pendant to her teammate from the king’s store room to going through the top half of the temple due lucking out from going down the crypt an forest. The ancient warriors room, the tomb of the headless kings, and the dark forest has the scariest pop-ups in the entire show for temple guards/spirits to show up.
One interesting note was the suit of armor with the temple guard in the Room of the Ancient Warriors was NOT the one that opened the Shrine door. If Andrea chose the middle suit of armor first, she would've had an no temple guard encounter run. (Similar to Enormous Iron Nose Ring, Sir Gawain, and Broken Trident.)
@@CanisXYZ I agree. Pretty sure all 3 suits could be fitted with a guard. They could have even had one behind all 3 and whichever one she entered first would be the guard that grabbed her then the others just step back.
It honestly bothers me how Temple Guards hide in the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Sometimes you _need_ to get caught by them to open the door, and even when you don’t… 2:07 …surprise constriction is worse than what they normally do.

i'm surprised a temple guard didnt come out in the secret password room and be like "girl whatchu talkin bout long live Olmec? it should be long live temple guards! cause this is OUR temple" then take her out! that'd been funny
Great solo run. Andrea made a very wise choice in starting in the Ledges. Starting in the Ledges was rare in season 3 as other contestants chose the Crypt because they got to remain standing going into the Pit. I do wonder if she didn't make in time if the producers would have given her and her teammate the grand prize because the slab did not go down all the way when completed the King's Storeroom? It would have been a more dominant victory if it went down correctly. The other two guards were in the Crypt and the Dark Forest. The Dark Forest was an odd choice to put the guard in as most contestants would stay on the upper floor in this situation, but they must have thought the Dark Forest would be easier to enter the Quicksand Bog through the breakable wall and would have made sure the tree by the breakable wall would have the guard.
I never seen any person exit out of the temple using the ledges as quick as Andrea did. She enter the ledges with only 15 seconds left and exit the temple with 5 seconds to spare. Jason from Broken Wing of Icarus should take notes.

1 of 2 episodes in season 3 where the contestants never entered The Crypt at any point during the run. The Smashed Printing Plate was the other. What’s funny is that both episodes had the exact same temple guard placements (The Crypt, The Room of the Ancient Warriors and The Dark Forest)
If I had been on this show and had successfully completed this I would put it on my resume.
