I’d honestly like to see the whole of Toon Lagoon rethemed to Bikini Bottom. We’ve already got two water rides, the Krusty Krab and Chum Bucket are no-brainers for Universal’s culinary team from what we’ve seen with Toadstool and Minion Cafe. Dudley Do-Right’s could become Mrs. Puff’s boating school, keep the Rock Bottom sim concept…there’s a ton of potential

Love the idea. I would say though maybe make popeyes into the boating school with a complete retheme of everything there for example the olive could be the flying dutchman’s ship etc, then with dudley do right, make a rock bottom ride with the big plunge being the road they go down in the show

Bikini Bottom is supposed to be underwater, so it would make zero sense to have a land themed to Bikini Bottom on "dry land" out in the open sunshine. The land would need to be enclosed and be completely indoors in order to simulate being "Underwater". They would need to completely demolish Toon Lagoon to build this which wouldn't be practical. It would make more since to build a Spongbob land from Scratch on available "empty" land such as at Epic Universe.

I feel like it would make more sense to have SLoP replace Jimmy Fallon, as it would keep the land’s New York theme and could even act as a bridge between Illumination Avenue and New York. I agree Pokemon will replace Springfield although I don’t think they wait until the deal runs out. I think they’ll add a small attraction or stage show to replace Animal Actors or Men in Black.
Mythos will just retheme to a Zelda themed restaurant, maybe adjust the rock work a bit and theme it to Goron City. There’s room for a stable to host meet and greets. Add a second ride to replace the Sinbad theater. And theme the quick service restaurants around meals you make in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom like meat and mushroom skewers, monster cake, etc.

As much as I wanna see Pokémon snap, I’d rather see a Pokémon safari zone style ride. Use the a Toy Story Mania ride vehicle where you shoot pokeballs at Pokémon in different environments. Then when the ride ends, you can link the universal app to your Pokémon games and import these Pokémon. You can even have the ride end where you face a new legendary each time.

It's interesting that you didn't mention Star Trek. Universal has been sitting on the Florida theme park rights for Trek for years now, and they have a history with creating an attraction for that IP. Years ago I heard rumors that Trek would be replacing Marvel, but I seriously doubt that would ever happen, what with the MCU being the most lucrative film franchise in history, and the contract being in perpetuity. I honestly think they'd replace MiB with Trek, keeping a sci fi property in the park while utilizing the ride's large footprint to create an immersive land akin to Galaxy's Edge.

Your prediction of Zelda replacing Lost Continent is what I'm expecting but I do think mythos will probably closed for a Zelda restaurant instead, so there's room for a 2nd attraction of some kind
I do actually agree Springfield is most likely to go, mainly due to the ride being so outdated (and maybe Disney being a little petty)
Secret life of pets definitely isn't happening imo. Apparently the ride in Hollywood wasn't as popular as Universal was expecting, had bad merch sales and the sequel did much worse. More likely event is them using the ride system for a different IP like pokemon or maybe Universal IP if it can fit in kidzone. Also if it were to come, it would definitely be in the Hollywood section of the park
Yeah pretty sure SpongeBob isn't gonna happen either. With Universal owning Dreamworks/ Illumination and owning theme park rights for Nintendo, I can't really see them building a ride with a outside IP when they already own plenty of kid friendly IPs
Pokemon coming is guaranteed but I think they'll be a 2nd attraction in the land at least. Lord of the rings also seems likely but a little less so, I do think it would get a regular dark ride instead of flight of passage type screen ride though

The issue with a lot of these prediction videos is that there's sure to be a brand new popular IP that pops up that seems like a much better fit. Regardless, I think it's a solid family dark ride that can put a lot of people through. It could work out, although it may be a bit too much Illumination for one park.

Sure, Super Nintendo World at Hollywood and Diagon Alley have only one ride (mostly due to space), but I think having a second attraction/ride not locked behind a paywall (wands, Power-Up Bands, etc.) would benefit with their capacity and offerings.
Even then, the back of house space behind The Simpsons Ride is massive and I think it would be foolish of them to not capitalize on that. Also, I think they should replace Fallon with Pets (or at least something like it), I think Fallon's show building IS big enough to fit that ride.

And that’s just for the next ten years. I can’t imagine what will come later. Personally, I think Rip Ride Rockit needs to go, it’s such an eyesore, it’s constantly breaking down, and it’s literally crammed between buildings. With a F&F roller coaster and maybe another, that would fill the need for a roller coaster in USF and we can get rid of this. With RRR gone and maybe even Jimmy Fallon as well, this could open up the NY land to a huge expansion and a new ride that’ll actually be good. Two bad rides for one. A couple of the soundstages in the back of NY could also make way for a new ride so long as it doesn’t mess with HHN. And don’t forget all the space USF will have with the back offices being relocated behind Epic Universe.

@dylankent4997 when I went a few weeks ago all the Jurassic Park lagoon animatronics were gone. So they are repairing them. But even Jurassic World didnt get all new animatronics when it was rethemed. UVS just added three more advanced animatronics. Blue, 2x indominus rex ones (all in the covered area). They reskinned the T-rex to indominus and that was it. Both stegosaurus need to be replaced and hardly move in Hollywood and have been there since the ride opened at Jurassic Park. I agree with new animatronics through out the ride would be amazing, but I don't see it happening. There are too many factors where replacing outdoor animatronics that is is better to just maintain them after a certain point. Because they have to be water tight, electrical safe, you have to have the lubrication that can operate in extremes, you then have to find a covering and paint that can handle the weather and not be too heavy, so they can move. I would love if there was not a clicking eyelid stegosaurus in jurassic world, but I dont see them getting updated to the degree that people would love because they are outdoor animatronics.

While it’s certainly possible, I don’t think that Zelda is an absolute lock for replacing the lost continent. Mario and Pokémon are insanely popular and no brainer choices for theme park lands, and have proven time and time again that they can stand on their own. Zelda hasn’t really shown that. Outside of the games there is virtually no market for it, and it’s not instantly recognizable like the other two properties. A random elderly woman will most likely recognize a Mario hat or a pikachu. They won’t know the same for Zelda. Outside of gamers the reach of the franchise is just much smaller, and it’s incredibly easy to see Universal not wanting to risk building a land for a franchise that might not be as popular as they think. And while I understand that it would be cheaper to build bc of how similar its theme is to the lost continent, realistically they’re not saving that much money to take such a huge risk. While it’s definitely not impossible it’s just really not as likely as people are saying.
SpongeBob is almost certainly not getting its own ride, there are quite literally hundreds of low quality SpongeBob rides around the US, with multiple regional parks even having entire SpongeBob sections. Why go to Florida when we have SpongeBob at home? It’s essentially just trying to take a bite of market share that’s already overcrowded to begin with

So the theater between toon lagoon and DC does have a show playing currently. So from rumors I was told by workers was that the lost continent was going to be a harry potter expansion. Given what is at IOA and that Epic had the flight simulator canceled in the harry potter world area, I think they will take down the sinbad theater and possibly add that ride either in the theater area or Poseidons fury spot. They could change that whole area to the dark forest and it would fit in along with providing a more semless transition between hogsmead and jurassic park. They could do minimal retheming and do it to zelda also. I dont think they will get the green light for any additional Nintendo IPs until Mario is played out in the area. Like how they do limited pokemon events in Japan. I honestly dont think an Orlando drift coaster is in the cards, the car scene is very alive in LA and they actively race and take over streets. However I never thought they would take a portion on the backlot tour and build two individual attractions in orlando from them (Kong and F&F). Its a bit out there, but it would be ideal if they rethemed Springfield to Nickelodeon, have a bunch of character meet and greets along with having a family area that young and old can relate to. That or they could do a whole F&F land there and do a high thrill coaster because hollywood Rip, Ride Rocket is aging. Alternatively they could expand the hollywood area and build the hollywood drift coast. The rumor of the legacy store going away is silly given they got rid of the prop store in the park and thats where they sell the "props" now. They also could do an expansion between springfield and MIB since alot of the storage is getting moved to epic.

I was thinking that Popeye could be Adventure Time themed if so? Idk about the Ripsaw Falls though. Please not exclusively the modern era though, have it be based on all eras of CN if so.
Also, I really think that when Universal decides the Simpsons land or the MiB/Fear Factor Live area has had their run, they should replace it with a section based on Tokyo (y’know like how there are also sections based on NYC and London)? I was thinking that its flagship ride could be an indoor Demon Slayer coaster. That manga/show is hugely popular in America and Universal has done a temporary VR ride for it at their Japanese park, so I can’t see it not being really popular if it happened here.
