Add Mt Fuji to Japan Pavilion, complete re design of Figment, new entrance hotel, large festival space (two story would be awesome), refurbs to the land and seas, also new show to Soarin’. Incorporate Encanto trackless dark ride into a new Columbia pavilion and bring back the Poppin idea.
Everyone loves both the Figment dragon and the Orange bird! My idea is not only do the dark ride update to figment, but also give the orange bird his own ride, and where better to give him his ride than Spain, known for their oranges? Maybe it could be a Soarin around the world type experience with different places around the world that have oranges, from Orange County Florida, to Orange County California, to Spain, and back! Orange scented misters as you fly over the orange trees. Then they make the exit a store with the orange juice dole whips.
The Mary Poppins ride was intended to be much more than a carousel. It was to start on a carousel, but then just like the movie the horses would jump off and take you on a more dark-ride like a debenture, apparently using a hanging ride system similar to Peter Pan.
Honest hope of what should happen with Epcot… Every pavilion get’s it’s own ride. (Except America, as I think American Adventure is more than adequate.) That way no pavilion feels superior to the others & explore their cultures via the Disney IP that take place in those cultures. As for what I think those rides should be… Italy: Luca dark ride where you explore the Italian seaside on a Vespa. China: Trackless Dark ride similar to Mystic Manor themed around the Ancestors’ temple from Mulan. Japan: Either a Totoro themed hanging dark ride similar to Peter Pan… or a Spirited Away drop tower based on the elevators in the bathouse. Morocco: Aladdin’s flying carpet simulator (surprised this one dosen’t exist already) UK: Being back the Mary Poppins ride. Canada: Brother Bear themed Log Flume. (Seriously Epcot needs a water ride that actually gets you wet in the Orlando Heat. And this seems like a perfect way to execute that. Germany: Tangled themed Steeple Chase coaster.
Too much IP, frankly. Epcot isn't supposed to be about that. It's okay to have mascot characters or IP characters playing small cameo/supporting roles like they do in the deluxe resorts, but full-blown attraction retheming like they did with Maelstrom to fit IP is not the right direction for the park.

I think Disney should finish Epcot Overhaul by late 2025 to bring guest from Epic Universe to Epcot! I would focus on, Spaceship Earth retheme, World Celebration Festival Hall, Play Pavillion, Moana Walkthrough Attraction and the Marry Poppins Attraction. I think they need to update Figment, Living with the land and The Seas Pavillion all within that time frame ending in 2025. The problem of not doing this is that when visitors come to see Epic Unicerse they will see a state of the ark new theme park, and if they visit Disney it will feel even more outdated than it currently feels. Disney needs to fix this park fast and the right way not on the cheap.
Just thinking out loud the inside out attraction would ultimately be a new version of cranium command, and instead of adding Spain why not give Germany the ride it was supposed to get in a expansion themed to rapunzel as the movie take place in Germany
I think a Colombia pavilion is a no brainer with an encanto ride, honestly an elaborate trackless dark ride would help counteract frozen long ride and spread the crowds out in world showcase a bit more. Mission space is also in desperate need of another update since the graphics on the ride are absolutely horrendous and the whole idea of the ride being an interactive simulator ride is a lie since there’s literally only one button to press and if you don’t press it nothing even happens. The green mission is boring as hell and the red mission is ugly looking and essentially torture. I’m all for Epcot having more thrill rides but when the thrill rides they have with test track and mission space are as bad/lackluster as they are then they gotta do something about it
I enjoyed your predictions! I don't know about Spain though. . . I feel like there is a lot of Europe represented in the World Showcase, so I'd love to see something from South America or Africa. Any new country would be cool though!!
For the World Showcase we don't need another Western European country. For me, my top picks are Egypt, Brazil, India, and Greece. I'm leaning towards Brazil since there is no South American representation in the Showcase. Mexico doesn't count as that country is in North America.
i would keep an eye on Black Panther 2 if that is successful without Tchalla i can definitely see more of the Wakanda Characters in epcot, maybe an Wakanda Out Reach Center in World Discovery with M&Gs, Exhibits etc
The Spain Pavilion feels like it has more of an Andalusian or Salamanca vibe vs Spain of Barcelona (although a Parc Güell themed maze at EPCOT or BGW would be insane. The real one is worth the 10€ tho)

Actually I have a better idea instead of adding a Spain Pavilion in an Epcot I was thinking of adding Colombia in that spot but it would also be an area dedicated to Encanto with probably a dark ride and maybe a meet and greet with Mirabel, possibly Bruno and the rest of the Madrigal family.

Hmm. Looking at the current lineup of pavilions the two big gaps seem to be Russia and Brazil. Due to Putin, I think Russia is scrapped. So Brazil seems like the logical choice. Can work in carnival theming, and they already have a mascot character ready to go.
Also, with Guardians of the Galaxy coming and seemingly not violating the Marvel/Universal contract, could we see a full land based on Guardians in the future as a sort of alternative to them not being able to bring an Avengers Campus to Florida?

You're too focused on IP, which is the wrong direction for Epcot in particular. It has gradually lost a lot of its charm over the past few decades because of leaning too heavily on incorporating IP characters that should have never played more than a supporting role. They'd be absolutely stupid to retheme imagination to Inside Out instead of doing a refurb to retrofit it to the much more popular and timeless Figment and Dreamfinder focus.

How are we gonna bring back the Dreamfinder when we don't have his original voice actor anymore? Do we need to hire someone that can actually bring his voice justice or do we need to resort to ttying to get AI of the Original VA in 2030 "because 2030 could have AI Voices be more advanced by then"
Am I in the minority that hates epcot? It's insanely boring and all the rides are super lame. Haven't been since gaudruans opened and that is no doubt and awesome ride but they have the weakest line up of any theme park in the country. I get why they are sinking so much money into it, when I was there in October of 2021 it was a couple weeks after the 50th celebration started and it was a ghost town compared to the other Disney parks.
