- Okay, we all know budgets are a thing and sometimes Disney gets it right. Sometimes, though, they get it very very wrong. I mean, come on, cancelling an E-ticket roller coaster because a sponsor doesn't like the name? Sorry, I'll forever be bitter about that one. What else? Oh, well, you'll just have to watch the video to find out more.

The thing about non-IP rides is that with enough story they have the potential to become IPs themselves. We are starving for new IPs nowadays.
pirates of the caribean did it.
I second that.
To that end, I say that they should spell it “Fujikoaster”. Fujiko is another name for Mt. Fuji that has ties to the spiritual beliefs and mythology surrounding the mountain. Beyond that, pick your poison. Japanese mythology is full of all sorts of monsters who live in the mountains. The ride could focus on just one yokai or story, or feature several. A yamauba (mountain witch) or a daidarabotchi (a giant that looks like a mountain when it’s sleeping) would be a natural fit, or perhaps the better-known tengu would be more marketable. The kamaitachi (the yokai that inspired the Pokemon Sneasel) is associated more with other parts of Japan than where Fuji is, but it’s associated with snow at least, as is the yuki-onna. There’s so much they could do with this idea.
IASW HM POTC and JC all are IPs from rides
I agree, I’m surprised they haven’t done a Expedition Everest Movie. That would be Epic. I also feel they need to redo Tomorrowland movie.
I see literally no reason why Disney shouldn’t build the Mt. Fuji coaster. There’s plenty of space, they already have the entrance, Nikon doesn’t have a presence in the Disney parks anymore, and it would finally give World Showcase the thrill ride it desperately needs. The only possible downside I can think of is that it might be a bit too similar to Expedition Everest, but Disney could probably find a way to make it stand out from that ride.
The "East Coast Matterhorn Bobsleds" idea seems to be something they kept coming back to over and over. I suppose the first one was Space Mountain, which actually was built, but that kind of became its own thing instead and got semi-cloned at other parks. And then there was the Epcot Matterhorn concept and the Fuji coaster concept, but I assume building Expedition Everest gave them the idea that they finally had one.
Well Disney animal kingdom has one roller coaster expansion Everest so I think Disney would want to built another one in order to have more guests in the park this roller coaster would go in the Africa section of the park this roller coaster is a Mt Kilimanjaro roller coaster at Disney animal kingdom
@@MattMcIrvin well they could built the Matterhorn in Epcot if they built a Switzerland 🇨🇭 pavilion in the world showcase and also the Mt Fuji roller coaster in the Japan 🇯🇵 pavilion and a Mt Vesuvius water ride in the Italy 🇮🇹 pavilion
I mean, to be fair, mountain based roller coasters isn't really a novel ideal for Disney. Just lean into the Japanese mythology and ba da bing ba da boom.
@@princeapoopoo5787 well Animal kingdom has one roller coaster which is expansion Everest in Asia so Disney most likely need to built another roller coaster in animal kingdom in order to help to bring more guests in the park the next roller coaster that I think of is a Mt Kilimanjaro roller coaster in the Africa section of Disney animal kingdom
I love the idea of the Muppet’s Great Movie Ride since part of the joke would be them imitating a ride that isn’t even there anymore. It would make for fun inside jokes and give them a place to showcase pieces from the old ride.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’ll never forgive Michael Eisner for picking Dinoland over Beastly Kingdom. I want my dragons, Mike.
Speak for yourself. Dinoland is my favorite Disney area.
Let me spin the wheel: A list of improvements for Epcot
1) A Ride in Canada: Circle vision is...fine, but a log flume ride based on "the Log Drivers Waltz" would be a great addition.
2) A Greece Pavilion: A temple theatre for stage shows, a slow boat ride to rescue Meg from The Underworld, a Greek restaurant, and store.
3) An India Pavilion: a country as rich in history, culture, and food would make an excellent Pavillion, Tie in The Jungle Book as a river ride, or Kha themed Jungle Gym
4) Peru: Give us Kuzskotopia.
5) Turn the Coca Cola Refreshment Outpost into Sub Saharan Africa, as it was meant to be
6) Egypt Pavilion: Put up a Pyramid, with A Mini coaster inside.
7) a Retro-futurist Ride: show us a history of how people from different time periods thought Their future would be like. (From Jules Verne, to Dirigibles, Robot Butlers, Interplanetary Leisure Travel, and the internet as a place to go to.)
Greece and India pavilions are genius and ive been wanting them for years. They're shoe ins, but for Greece i feel like Hercules sadly just isn't as relevant anymore and needs something new to bring the attention back. I wouldn't mind a live action Hercules if it means a Greece Pavilion. Also Jungle Book is always relevant, but the area in Animal Kingdom just makes more sense than EPCOT for it
I have a whole pitch for a Greece pavilion. I think it would be cool if they could create Meg's garden from the movie because it had all these famous statues in it and could be a great place for Instagram pics (which is ABSOLUTELY something Disney considers)
@@jalapeno1119 this is such a good idea omg plus I love the idea of the boat ride rescuing Meg also
@@imeanleafeon I'm pretty sure the next Disney live action remake is going to be Hercules so it would make sense.
Greece Pavilion with Greek Coffee and a nice taverna would be awesome
You see offhand is the type of “ disney adult” that’s respectable. He’s not a fanatic. He just likes to go to the parks and have some fun
He is.
And... proud of it!
@@michaelsullivan3581 Indeed so!
@@fredreindlsecondbreakfast5522 I would like to meet and talk with him. I have some information that could prove interesting to talk about.
They're all respectable. Being a fanatic is ok
Before watching. The whole of Beastly Kingdom.
Beat me to it.
I really wish they had built that Kingdom. I know that it can be argued that fantasy animals don’t fit the theme of Animal Kingdom, but Pandora is there now. I was hoping that maybe Magic Kingdom Fantasy Land would one day get some of these attractions, but it looks like Fantasy Land is going to stay Princess Land. The dragon coaster alone could be a big draw if they went all out on a “life-like” animatronic.
I agree! I’d love to see this land happen with plenty of room for expansion! I’d love to see more expansions come to Disney’s Animal Kingdom with lots of different rides and attractions as well as some animal encounters! Asia should have a Theater in the Wild and Dinoland USA should have a Dino Institute Showcase Theater with the namesake Dino Institute Showcase show, Dinoland USA should get a better dinosaur themed roller coaster and a dinosaur carousel, Asia should get a Jungle Book dark ride and an Asian Water Dragon roller coaster, Africa should get a Pridelands mini-land with a Lion King themed dark ride and a Lion King themed carousel, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom could have another carnival themed area called Creature Carnival adjacent to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, a Camp Critter area, a relocated Pandora near Dinoland for Beastly Kingdom, etc.!
Right now, the Avatar land’s the closest thing we’ll ever get.
Beastly Kingdom basically did get made but it’s Pandora. Pandora has many of the same attractions that BK would’ve had.
One of the problems with modern Disney is how they don’t make anything ominous looking. They could do an amazing job making the dragons castle, but they won’t, because it’s too ominous
Yup like Alien Encounter.
Fun Fact: Another scrapped idea for the Japan Pavilion at Epcot was to include a Bullet Train ride that took you through Japan’s cities and countryside and also would have featured Godzilla attacking Tokyo Bay. The plan didn’t go through due to Kodak’s sponsorship with Epcot and that Godzilla’s company Toho, was very strict on the use of Godzilla outside of their Studio. The ride concept would later help inspire the creation of Animal Kingdom’s Expedition Everest.
It's crazy Japan doesn't have a theme park based on Neon Genesis Evangelion, one of the most popular animes in the genre. They do have a GIGANTIC store that sells merchandise only for Evangelion!
It annoys me that the Canada pavillon has no room to add an attraction because they built a damn conference hall right there which probably makes them a lot of money... I feel like a log flume would feel VERY Canadian. Maybe having riders go through all four seasons? It's also weird there's no poutine based quick service counter there ...
Canada is the most neglected land at Epcot outside of possibly Morocco, America, and the Outpost (which they should just rename to any African country already).
@@japansfloridaman2466 do they even sell nanaimo bars or butter tarts there?
If they spelled it “Fujikoaster”, they could theme it around Japanese mythology. Fujiko is another name for the mountain that has ties to the spiritual beliefs and mythology surrounding it. As you rode along, the yokai who live in the mountain could attack you.
As others commented here it was Kodak not Nikon that objected. Kodak had Sponsorship of Journey into Imagination and the Kodak picture spots before Nikon came into the picture. Even the Figment was going to be green in the original concepts but Kodak said the green color was FujiFilm logo color and so Figment was changed to Purple. Good job on your channel.
gReEn iS NoT a cReAtiVe CoLOr!
Thank God! For a minute I thought it was another Mandela Effect. KODAK is the company that blocked Mt Fuji.
I can't believe they couldn't just come whit a alternate name for this ride.
I think you might be right about that.
The cancelled Indiana Jones mine cart roller-coaster at Disneyland would've been incredible
I agree!
Yes!!! - especially how it was planned intersect with the Jungle Cruise, the Train, and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye!
The dragon coaster at Universal was Duelling Dragons. It was renamed to Dragon Challenge when they re-themed it to Harry Potter.
7:36 As much as I'm a huge Princess and the Frog fan, turning Splash Mountain into the Western River Expedition would be super exciting because it'd be A) reviving a classic ride concept B) a brand new non-IP ride and C) it would fit in with the pre-established Frontierland theming. They should still put the Princess and the Frog Splash Mountain in Disneyland though, since it's right next to New Orleans Square and would fit perfectly.
Ooh I kind of like this idea - two different versions in two different parks!
@@jalapeno1119 The more different Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom are the better, imo! Magic Kingdom used to have a lot of it's own quirks and identity that's slowly been removed over time in favor of making it more like Disneyland. There's a really great essay on it I read but I can't remember where. It went in depth on how changes in management ("nostalgic Californian kids becoming in charge of Disney Parks" I believe is how it was put) caused the two parks to start to become less unique and more identical. Of course they're not 100% identical today, but they're less unique from each other than they used to be.
I LOVE it when the parks have rides unique to only one of the two. Even when it’s the same ride with a different skin, it feels special and like I need to visit all of them so I can compare. I do think Princess and the Frog Mountain is a slam dunk at Disneyland and that’ll probably be the next time I shell out the money to go.
Western River would be cool, I’m not as into the Pocahontas idea someone mentioned beforehand just because I feel the energy doesn’t match but I do think that’s interesting regardless, and overall I think doing two different ones would be brilliant.
Yeesss I thought maybe a chip and dale theme with wilderness adventure since they do not get the love of the other characters and it would be a easy replacement
@@charliemacsart I agree. That's why I'm low-key upset about Remy and Tron. I did love riding Ratatouille, but I want the Parks to be unique
I'm still mad they haven't made a PULL THE LEVER, KRONK rollercoaster somewhere
That would EPIC FUN!!!
The Mt. Fuji coaster is a DREAM. I wish there were more thoughtful rides like this in World Showcase.
Footlight Parade was a tribute to Busby Berkley. James Cagney (from "The Public Enemy") was part of the gangster section of the attraction.
Nailed it! Not building Fuji coaster was a huge mistake for all the reasons you gave! And UK really needs a Mary Poppins attraction to help that side of World Showcase!
Mount Fuji ride is one I can get behind and Also I think Disney could promote it really well without IPs, (or they could just make a movie on Mt. Fuji and say it's based off that)
1:10 hey, I would *love* a Dick Tracy ride. And a Rocketeer ride for that matter. I really loved how the 1930s/40s were popular for a hot minute in the early 90s
nice pfp
*There was a cancelled attraction called "Journey through Time On The Peoplemover" designed in 2001 by everyone's favorite imagineer.... Bonnie Baxter ( Not Tony ). It would be a dark ride where you would time travel on a peoplemover on the innoventions building and would also use the recently broken Rocket Rods tracks as some sort of time worm-hole thingy, but Micheal Eisner used all the budget on DCA and this never happened....*
*I'm obviously kidding, sorry*
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie
You say “obviously” but tbh 2001 Disney would probably do something like this, except for the whole “fixing the broken Rocket Rods” part
7:38 Ever since I heard that Disney was retheming Splash Mountain, this was my main issue with them changing it to be Princess and the Frog themed (even though I love that movie). While it works for Disneyland, it doesn't really fit for Disney World as well. I like the idea of making it Western River Expedition themed, but I always thought that basing it around Pocahontas would be really cool. It can be tied in to the land a bit easier and there is a scene in Pocahontas where she jumps off a waterfall which could be referenced/translated into the ride with the big drop.
Then TWO Princesses of Color could be represented! That's not a bad idea!
Not cancelled but closed: They need to bring back the Adventurers Club. I know this club was outside the parks and not a ride, but it truly was a special place and of a different (better) era of imagineering. I actually cried when it closed, and nothing Disney had done lately has come close to being as awesome as it was in terms of theming, immersion, and character development. Would love to see it mentioned in your videos.
Ab, sol, lutely! 100% on board! I was so disappointed I never got to experience it myself. (and I totally agree about the imagineering) =)
The S.E.A. needs to rise!!!!!!!!
@@burneyboys02 Here-here! =)
Absolutely agreed. They could put it back in Disney Springs or, hell, put it in a park! It could easily find a home at Animal Kingdom!
The Adventurers' Club was the best thing at Disney World. Period.
PS: Mayhaps the Society of Explorers and Adventurers will not "vaporize" this comment, as they obviously have done with the previous (and now missing) four?
I want the original version of ToonTown they were going to build in Hollywood Studios.
I'm still holding out hope for a UK pavilion ride! It needs it!
The Mary Poppins ride would work well in the style of Peter pan's flight
I’m so sad about Mary Poppins and I’ll never get over the fact we never got Western River Expansion. I adore Pirates. It’s one of my favorites. But, WDW got a slap dash version compared to Disneyland. And yes Epcot desperately need more rides in world showcase.
Never give yourself a time limit for your videos! We subscribe because we love your videos! The longer, the better! You're always entertaining and informative!
i TOTALLY support the river cruise ride in Germany .... some of my favorites of one of my favorite place in WDW is stuff NOT based on IPs
also .. you cant go wrong with the muppets lol
Well remember there building a Tangled boat ride in the Tokyo Disneysea expansion well they could do that here in Epcot at the Germany 🇩🇪 pavilion because Tangled is set in Germany 🇩🇪 just like how frozen is set in Norway 🇳🇴 and we have frozen ever after boat ride at the Norway 🇳🇴 pavilion
It seems like Disney keeps coming back over and over to the idea of a gigantic multi-attraction structure, like a mountain with several rides in it, and in almost all cases it ends up being pared down to a single attraction or scrapped entirely. One they did build was Tokyo DisneySea's Mount Prometheus--I guess the budgets work differently there.
...One I actually did encounter was not at a Disney park at all, but at Kings Dominion: "The Lost World", a fake mountain with several rides inside. All those rides eventually got replaced with one--Volcano: The Blast Coaster (RIP). No trace of the mountain now remains.
I wanna see Epcot get more rides for the World Showcase pavilions like boat rides for Italy, Germany, Canada, Morocco, roller coasters for Japan and China, etc.!
Since bob chapek loves ip they could make a big hero 6 themed fuji coaster in the japan pavilion.
More Epcot pavilions. I would like to see Russia and Egypt.
And plus up the old ones with some rides
Rumor from my CM friend is that a new pavilion is going in where the Germany train is.
Reimagine Horizons, & Body Wars at Epcot!
I was coming on here to same the same thing; the country that makes sense to me to add is Brazil.
just opened my homepage to this 7 seconds in, so i'm gonna say; I love this channel very much, and I hope I run into you at some point
Bring back Journey into the Imagination with Figment-the original one. It was fantastic.
The Fuji coaster makes me sad... it would've been WDWs Matterhorn.
Isn't Expedition Everest already WDWs Matterhorn?
... I just want Muppet Vision 3D back at DCA. There's already a show-building they can use. I'm talking about the old Millionaire Play It building that is now known just as "Stage 17" I believe. It's mostly used for special events, often that are cast member exclusive. But It's actually almost twice as big as the original building that housed Muppet Vision 3D which now has... Mickey's Philharmagic. Not a fan. I know lots of Disney World fans cherish that attraction but I just don't see what is so special about it and why it had to replace Muppets, which was replaced by Frozen, which now has its own stage show focusing on the first Frozen film even though Frozen 2 is the superior film. But yeah. Bring back Muppet Vision 3D to DCA, especially because it was the very last Muppet project that Jim Henson himself was directly involved in before he died. I am also in full support of bringing back that Mount Fuji coaster because that one sounds incredibly cool. I know they must have recycled some of their ideas for that in Expedition Everest but it would still be a cool fast attraction that could celebrate Japanese culture.
i fully agree with you! i would absolutely love to have muppet vision 3d back here in california
I want the Atlantis ride to be made real
Dude all your work is straight fire!! Appreciate all your hard work!
Clone Mr. Toads in the England Pavilion, Pinocchio in the Italy Pavilion, Snow Whites in the Germany Pavilion, create a similar dark ride in Canada and theme it to Brother Bear, etc. Retro Disney dark rides for each country in EPCOT.
Now I want a Collab with Dallin and Mark
All of these coasters sound great, if Disney got rid of the world’s biggest baby ride (autopia) they’d have enough room to build any two if not three rides. Don’t believe me look at how much room that one ride takes up, then look at its wait times it’s almost like nobody rides it.
That’s fax, autopia isn’t very futuristic.
Imagine if Disney made a park/resort with all the attractions that they never built...
Hmmmm...
Wish Disney used Disney+ to revive shelved movies, series and shorts as well
What would they call a park like that?
Defunctland?
Someone should start a CZcams channel
@@DekuOfPower Maybe it doesn’t have to be just one park. Maybe Disney could disperse their shelved attraction ideas among all the Disney resorts. ex: cancelled Jules Verne-type mini-land in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland.
@@DekuOfPower hey I think I know that guy
Sounds like some heavy foreshadowing 👀👀
i wish we would get more non-ip stuff 😭 like yes i get it, get your money disney but also give me just fun stuff that doesn't have to connect to a movie or show
I agree. And the non-movie based attractions are beloved IP’s themselves. Like Figment.
When im in the middle of doing something important i have to drop everything because Dallin uploaded
Lol "look at his name" TRACY is a funny name haha
Meet The World for Japan and Fujiyama!
...and, yes, there was a model display in Germany at opening.
I’m downright angry that Maelstrom was removed for more Frozen crap
I’m glad you appreciated my Muppets Movie Ride idea. It just makes too much sense.
If I had three Disney Wish's where I could resurrected three projects it would be 1. Beastley Kingdom (I will forever be salty at Eisner for not giving us this), 2. The Ride of the Valkyrie Segment from Fantasia (the concept art looks amazing like could have been another Night on bald mountain amazing, also I am a big fan of Norse mythology), 3. Journey into Imagination (what we have now is a shadow of what this ride was and I would love to see it returned to its former glory)
Should we organize a letter writing campaign so Disney Parks will call Dallin? Or maybe crowd fund a buyout of one of the parks and hire him ourselves?
This is a great list!! Except for one thing. How dare you suggest they get rid of Star Tours... Yes I love the Muppets, but, Falcon's only fun with a large group of friends and doesn't have any reridability factor in my opinion. If they decide to add more locations and things other than just the basic coaxium one, different levels you'd wind up taking at random so to speak, then it would be far more enjoyable. I highly enjoy Star Tours.
Yeah, taking out Star Tours would cause a HUGE disturbance in the Force!
what would be awesome to have come back is the mine train through nature's wonderland again. and it would be so cool to have it go through some spots in big thunder
5:15 could easily be a Maleficent ride where you are Prince Phillip fighting her dragon form!!
yes dhalin! more coasters! that's what me and my wife say every time we're at DW. They're fun, bring a lot of people and probably pretty easy to theme. Mt. Fuji behind japan would be awesome!!
There is a Rhine River cruise- at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Some of the track for the River Cruise in Germany was built. It goes through near what is now a merchandise supply room in Germany. I picked up a shift at Village Traders one day (the Africa store) and one of the German merchandise CMs showed it to me
Hey just a heads up, it wasn't Nikon who objected to the Fuji Coaster, it was Kodak. Besides that, great video, keep up the awesome work, excited to see what you do in 2022!
I would love more videos on the lands / rides never created
The concept art is so incredible
Before watching: superstar limo
Rock Candy Mountain?? I’ve never heard that one before, but I’m here for it!! ❤
Those are some cool ideas to return. Nice episode 🤘🏽
Smugglers run is a lesser star tours in my opinion. Smugglers run is a group project, and we all know how terrible those are. You can also fail, I go back to group project.
I would love to see Disneyworld Tackle Japan. While my heart lies in China, Japan is really cool.
I totally agree with the western river expedition being disney worlds answer to a splash mountain retheme. They could even keep the animal animatronics by giving them a cowboy overlay.
They really need more countries in Epcot..more diversity..like India 🇮🇳 and 🇬🇷 Greece...Polynesia, Brazil, and go ahead with Africa
I would love to see a Polynesian pavilion, or even an Australian pavilion.
I would love to see all of these!
I kept hearing "its candy mountain charlie" when you talked about that segment
Fujicoaster and WRE are top of my list. This isn't exactly related but I would love to see them finally make the Russia pavilion so that we can have Anastasia in the parks! I love your videos especially when they're longer!
Anastasia is not a Disney property. Awesome imagineering though 👍🏽💕🎠🐭✨
@@yellowsheeeep with the purchase of 20th Century Fox, Disney now owns the rights to Anastasia
Just to be clear I'm not trying to be snarky at all and thank you for the compliment, I should have acknowledged that in my original reply
@@TheEvanandAlex ohh true, you right lol
& no worries! you were not being snarky at all!! thanks for informing me correctly 🥰
@@yellowsheeeep I appreciate you saying that 😊
I remember watching the Dick Tracy Show when the park first opened and it was MGM. the movie had just opened. I also remember a Pocahontas show in that same theater. Eventually they opened Beauty and the Beast - and here we are. Since the theatre sat right where the Sunset Blvd expansion was going to be, they built a New Theatre and moved the Beauty and the Beast Show to its current location.
I would like another Alien encounter type attraction.
I feel about Beastly Kingdom the way OHD feels about the Peoplemover
Great video, I really wish we got some of these. What about Fire Mountain? It was Dragon(‘s) Tower and Kodak not Dragon Challenge and Nikon. 😀
I want this Muppet Great Movie Ride!
Rock Candy Mt. was going to be where Casey Jr. is today. The Japan building was going to be Meet the World which did get made and moved to Tokyo Disneyland. Kodak was the film company. Also we did get Mount Fuji it’s just in Animal Kingdom.
So Nikon who as far as I recall didn't make film didn't want to be associated with the ride because it had the same name as a competitor whose film could be put in Nikon cameras. Anyway, I still would love to see Beastly Kingdom as it should be but yes, in particular the dragon coaster.
Wow I never knew that we could’ve had a candy land type theme ride, I have been into Disney history for 5 years and never knew!
The Muppets' Great Movie Ride shouldn't have been cancelled! Being a Muppet fan myself, I wanna ride that!
I’m not even a muppet fan myself but that sounds a trillion times better than whatever the heck we’ve gotten from Disney as of late it almost sounds impossible to mess that up
I researched this and Rhine River had apparently already had been cancelled by the time they finalized architectural plans for the Pavilion. There’s is nothing behind that wall but a storage room and there never was space to build the cruise, as it had already been taken out in early planning. - Could be wrong, and it is always a compelling mystery to me what, if anything, was in that hallway the first few months of Epcot opening.
I wanna see the Mt. Fuji coaster plz Disney!!
Especially since not only is Nikon not a sponsor, but Kodak has not been a park sponsor since 2012, when it went bankrupt, so their objections that it would promote a competitor no longer matters. Maybe they could get Fuji as a sponsor instead.
Excellent report Dr. Schmitdz of the S.E.A!
I would love for them to actually bring Beastly kingdom to Animal Kingdom and wish they'd consider it again
Can Michael Eisner be considered a Disney attraction that needs to return?
Yes, as long as Rocket Rods stays Dead, Buried, & forgotten!
No because too many people still fart on about how terrible Eisner was, which usually means farting out stupid crap like EuroDisney and ignoring the massive amounts of good to great things he did for DIsney....
But then they cry about live action remakes and the parks being filled with Marvel and other licensed IPs which is practically everything under Eiger.
No, he's had his day in the sun. I'd rather see them hire someone from Oriental Land Company.
@@CinnamonGrrlErin1 I'm with you on that! Can you imagine the what the parks would be like? I would like to see Disney lease some land at WDW to OLC, let them build a park, and Disney gets the residuals like they do at TDR. Disney gets royalties and it costs Disney nothing.
We'll take Eisner back - as long as we can get Frank Wells back with him! He was the voice of reason that Eisner lost in the later years of his Disney career.
Yesss. Give us all of these, but ESPECIALLY give us Western River Expedition!!! This was the most tragic loss, especially given the disappointment of Pirates compared to DL Pirates
Although I really want that Fuji Coaster too....
I’d really hope that for “phase 2” of the epcot expansions they’d include the Fuji coaster. I mean, it lines up. Phase 1 we get renovations of energy and wonders in future world with ratatouille in world showcase, phase 2 we get renovations for SSE and imagination with Fuji in the showcase. Keeping my fingers crossed 😬
I would say a great solution to tie in the Germany Pavilion AND with current IP would do a Tangled boat ride focused on the lanterns scene
If I was Disney and bring back mount Fuji and then as a slap in the face I would have Fujifilm sponsor it since the Fuji cameras are so in now (the polaroid camera)
They can do a Rapunzel ride in the German pavilion, if they wanted to add another IP.
Interestingly, Fuji Film has been a sponsor at Tokyo Disney Resort for years.
How can something never built be' brought back'?
Dick Tracy is great and deserves his own place in disney, his own hotel, maybe a resturaunt. Get him in SEA. Make it happen
Also, candy mountain, a possible lay over for bobsled. Idk though
Mount Fuji Sled Bobsleads is definitely the most infuriating. Why didnt they just rename it???? Omggg and the rhine river cruise… would‘ve been so much better too. It’s so cringe
For the re theme for splash mountain at WDW I agree with that it wouldn’t fit the theme of the land , but how about like a chip and dale river adventure.
While I would've loved to see the Beastly Kingdom, I also heard they were gonna give us an area based on the Disney Villains; now THAT would've been awesome!
Pretty sure it was Kodak, not Nikon, that opposed Fuji.
"We're going to Candy Mountain Charley! Candy mountain!" Sorry I couldn't help it! ;-)
"unless you want that" YES we would love longer videos don't limit yourself!!!
also DISNEY BRING BACK BEASTLY KINGDOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It WAY more "Disney" feeling than Pandora (in my opinion). I would LOVE to see all the amazing innovation that they put into pandora into Beastly Kingdom. No hate to Pandora whatsoever it's truly breathtaking and amazing, I just wanted to see all of that put towards Beastly Kingdom instead I will die on this hill
Honestly I would live to see them bring back mr toad’s wild ride and place it in the UK pavilion at Epcot, it ticks all the boxes for them, beloved attraction, no development costs, ip based, inexpensive flats based dark ride… there was a big fan outcry when they took it out of the magic kingdom’s fantasyland and they can probably have it done quickly enough to coincide with one of the film’s anniversaries and rerelease from the vault… Merchandise opportunities abound and i for one would gladly pay and proudly wear a go to hell t-shirt with the little Devils from the end of the ride… 😜
The fact that there is a PERFECT plot of land for Muppet Studios sitting in DCA literally kills me to think about. They literally already have everything they need for MuppetVision, they have dark ride infrastructure in Monster’s Inc, and there’s already Hollywood theming. It would literally be a simple reskin, for the most part, and that space is just going to waste right now.
