    I use 3M 70 industrial spray adhesive on our rugs. Its really cheap and works great

    great video! one note on the spray adhesive: you can use it a bit more sparingly attaching the backing, it's incredibly strong once dried - I use the same glue myself, thanks again for the vid!

    Hey just curious when using hot glue for your edges of leftover monkscloth could you use the initial carpet adhesive to pin them down?

    Great video! In all honesty, you oversprayed that adhesive. It is actually really strong. Slower, more controlled swipes of the can will result in a smoother glue finish as well as save you money in glue. I actually use the same glue for car carpet installation. It's great.

    Hi you should switch to 3M 90 Contact Adhesive - not that much more expensive (10$ i think) and lasts me about 4-5 rugs instead of 2.

    i'll opt for the carpet glue -- it's cheaper and i want the flexibility. too, i might go for the non-slip carpet padding which is hugely more expensive than felt, but that's a cost i should be able to market to customers pretty easily along the lines of safety, durability, and made in the USA. the best marketing come from sales points you don't have to make up....

    With the glue you used is the carpet still malleable? I'm thinking if your able to fold it or wrap it for shipping to the customer.

    One thing I am confused on is when you are tufting do you not fill in all the white space on the back? Like leaving those white spaces are okay correct cause I see how it looks less full from the back but in the front it is full I’m just lost on that part
