Silhouette does have tutorials direct from the company. Also, Melissa from Silhouette School, has 100's of tutorials for the free software, business edition and machine. You don't have to struggle trying to learn. If neither one works, there are literally a few hundred CZcamsrs out there.
Personally, I started with Melissa about 5 years ago before I even considered Silhouette as a whole. My 1st machine - Sizzix Eclipse2 - is exactly like one of the first Silhouette machines. But the information for using it was next to zero. So I would watch Melissa because I could apply the same principles.
My 2nd machine is - Cricut Joy - i bought it only for quick long projects but it does more than I thought to use it for.
My 3rd machine - Starcraft Solo - which is similar to Silhouette and a Graphtec. Amazing and cuts wide but cheaper than both of them.
I will never buy Silhouette or Cricut machines. Anything past a Cricut has a software learning curve but not difficult. Just take your time.
Silhouette business edition allows you to design a lot of things AND you can export the file in various formats which can be cut on several cutting machines. Cricut won't allow that and it is limited on what you can import as well as design for anything that is NOT from Cricut.

What if... 1- you make the kiss cut first. 2- then you peel (clean) the design. 3- apply transfer tape 4- and finally you cut (all the way) the outside shape. Would that be possible??
You’d have to figure out a way to line up your designs to cut perfectly with the transfer tape. Currently there isn’t an easy way to do that.
Silhouette doesn't read cropmarks?

@@natanvil07 it’ll read printed registration marks. But there isn’t an option for registration marks with vinyl so you’d have to “hack it”
