I love your playing, Petra
Petra is easily one of the finest guitarists I have ever heard. Why has she not attracted more attention?
Because "attention" and "finest" rarely go hand in hand.
No need to go anywhere else. This is the best performance by far.
My new favorite interpreter of Ponce.
Perfectly played, could not be better!
Great musician and guitar player. I love her playing!
What a beautiful interpretation!
Très poétique, la musique et l'interprétation. Merci !
So beautiful...
Petra’s artistry is awesome. Love her playing!

A beautiful performance by a great musician. That guitar also has a wonderful tone.
Wunderbare Artikulation und Phrasierung! Und wie es singt! BRAVO!!!
Strange that I hear this for the first time today, although it was posted already in 2018.
Beautiful as ever. The music by this composer, and the superb way in which Petra plays it.
Incredible performance, Petra. I've just started to learn Ponce's preludes, and if I can play them half as well as you I'll consider it a success. What an amazing talent you have!
Veramente magico, un Ponce bellissimo!!
Beautiful tone and poetic playing. Nice job Petra!
I am Mexican and listening to this performance, you made me feel like I was on the streets of my country: The Mexico of 19th century. Beautiful!
Amazing silences between notes and tranquility. Wonderful, Petra!
Beautiful!

Beautiful sound, wonderful tone colors. And the poetry of Andrea Segovia. Bravo and Thank you.
What does Segovia have to do with it?
A brilliant interpretation of Ponce. Your dynamics are wonderful.

Grande sensibilità musicale
Without a doubt, the most poignant performance of this piece that I've heard.
As well it should be I have spent time with this first prelude and I've come to hear the spiritual in it. It is there right on the surface and particularly in her performance.
The best. Wow!🎉
Legendary guitarist
and brilliant a/v by mr. henderson.

Che numeri sono, numero VII e poi?
Sublime interpretation! You 'tell a story' with this beautiful interpretation. Which transcription you use? Especially of prelude#8.
It's Segovia version...
Drama! I approve.

A Color symphony
...the hand of god rests on her shoulder. Prolific.
I can recognize n.8 (Segovia 1), n.7 (Segovia 2) and n.6. But what is the fourth ?
AFAIK she plays no. 8 (F# minor, Segovia 1), no. 7 (A major, Segovia 2), "no. 6" (according to Stefano Grondona there was no no. 6 in Ponce's manuscripts, Petra Poláčková plays a sketch in B minor, which Miguel Alcázar chose as no. 6 for his editions in 1981 and 1983) and no. 5 (D major, not in Segovia's 1930 Schott edition).
Beautiful video.
