    Hi, Paul:
You're not wasting your time posting videos.
    People take your presentations seriously.
I have a few million miles driving 18 wheelers since 73, own an 08 ram, and like to keep up with what's really happening in the market as to what's working or not.
I'm finally retired, but drag my rv trailer all over the country as a full time rv'er.
Many thanks for the well grounded information.
    Michael Rzewuski

I'll bet that the rocker wear issue has to do with the exhaust brake being used more on your trucks and Dodge/Cummins changing the setting on the exhaust brake on the 22s to provide more back pressure/braking. More backpressure = more pressure on the valves = more pressure on the rockers.

It's not just ram it's all of them......I bought a 22 GMC at4 with the 3.0 diesel. The truck literally would not go 500 miles without throwing the check engine light. I bought the truck with 30 miles and traded it in with 2100 miles. The dealer literally put half the miles on the truck,. From service. They would take the truck for 2-3 weeks give it back "your good to go" 2-3 days later right back in.

There's a huge flaw with the grid heaters in the new gen rams because of the placement it cause a bolt inside your intake manifold to corrode way faster than it should and so the bolt snaps and gets carried into the engine. Which of course totally wrecks the engine. Rn the best solution is replacing your oem intake horn with a banks monster ram intake. Elbow Which removes and relocates the stock grid heater so you no longer have a bolt that can corrode and fall into the engine. Here's a video explaining

Now my experiences by no means on par with yours but my 2018 4th Gen G56 with only 40,000 miles is mechanically sound as far as I know now that I have replaced the stock clutch. The latest kerfuffle is the ABS module and brake hydraulic control unit which is constantly throwing a code. Apparently these parts are on backorder and not available frustrating to say the least. I always thought of these trucks, especially when bought brand new as being infallible.🤔

Well, I have a 2021 Ram 3500 6.7 Cummins HO experiencing excessive Regen's. Come to find out, there was a shortage on parts when they built the truck and left one sensor off the DPF. FCA reprogrammed the PCM to satisfy the EPA. Meanwhile, the dash display is lying to you. It says 0% at end of Regen. I started running a monitor plugged into the OBD port and the PCM says different. It's not completing the Regen. After the 3rd trip to dealership, they finally admitted to me today that there will be a recall this summer to reinstall the sensor and reflash the PCM. Also a second recall coming on the 5th gen for the grid heater failure.

Why is Ram not trying to help you solve these engine issues with as many trucks that you have purchased? I have a 3500 that’s a 22

trailer. What’s giving out on the engines? I’m short on specifics but I haven’t watched all your videos on the 22’s issues either.

I just looked at the owners manual, they reccomend 10w-30 ck-4 for above 0 degrees F, 5w-40 for below 0. I remember that some people ran into issues with the 6.7 powerstroke for running 15w-40 and not 10w-30. The tighter tolerances required a thinner oil. I would think that Paul is running at least 5w-40.

I got a 22 3500 HO that was built the first week of December 21. No issues so far and hopefully it stays that way.
