As someone who has lived in Florida just avoid the Everglades altogether
This is actually very scary because in 1996 a commercial flight ValueJet 592 crashed in the Everglades after departing out of Miami.

Omg!!!! This is la ciguapa. Its the best scary story we tell kids in Dominican República. Lmao she legendary before I was even born in DR. I love that she been turn into a creepypasta. There a wood when I was a child still living in DR that all of us would avoid because that where she lives or lurs men into. Once you said her name my whole face lite up and I had to rehear this with more details

Narrator is an idiot who shouldn't have guns. Never shoot at your friends or in this case your plan should be thought out enough to make sure your allies arent in the area of affect. In reality shooting a tree branch with a revolver won't break it. So it was a stupid plan from the start. However assuming it would ; make sure your friend isnt fucking atanding under it.

Anyone notice the parallel between the main character and Will? The main character fled and left Will at the end just like Will did to his friend who was overdosing. Overall it was a great story and gave me chills quite a few times.

Nice to see some stories about Florida. We do have some weird paranormal shit down here. And it's true, the Everglades still has missing people and plane wrecks every once in a while. And reports of odd animals living there.

Because a loooooot of people are .... I used to be... 5 years clean.... but we are everywhere your mothers, brothers, sisters fathers, uncles ...nobody is above addiction .... and people you would never expect are addicts.

I was merely pointing out that addicts are everywhere .... people who grew up sheltered dont realize what kinds world they actually live in .... and that addicts are just regular people who made a bad choice and got in too deep and couldn't stop .... being dope sick is not easy .... and whatever pain in your life you were trying to escape from in the first place is still there when you get sober too...
Reminding you of why you got high in the first place.... if we stopped looking at addicts as plague victims or lepers we might actually make a dent in the opiate epidemic .... instead we just demonize them and exile them from normal society so they delve deeper and deeper into their addiction because they have no help and nothing to lose ..... the only reason I'm clean is because at the time I was a foreman at a door factory and I had killer insurance that forked out over 100k for me to re learn how to be a normal person without getting high being my only priority for the day. So I got to be sick and detox and rehab in a 6 million dollar mansion for 90 days ..... while.most people dont get that opportunity.
I've listened to a lot of creepypastas. Only a few of them actually do drugs. And rarely are any of them addicts.

I worked with the U.S. Forestry; me and my men where tasked with destroying invasive species of plants, among others. Im not believing that they where just walking around as most of it is fossilized coral. Several feet seperate you from a sharp and jagged fall to a muddy pit and every dangerous creature in the region. Good story though.

Tell me about it 10yrs clean off morphine here. The withdrawals can kill people literally
Methadone saved my life. Im now off even that. At most now i take is some disolvable asprin for bad headaches.
And i feel so much better.
