Thanks very much for making this video. Do you know if this has the functionality to activate the rear caliper pistons in order to work on rear brakes?
Fyi. Every time you open the app on your Android device one time per day. It will give you one credit. There's also place in the app you can watch ads to get free credits. Up to I believe 8-10 credits per day or something like that. I did not spend a dollar of real money and I have 270 credits on my obd11 right now. And honestly I don't even try that hard just when I remember.
So far it’s an android based device, so any phone or tablet will work, they are working on apple app for it, so soon it will work with iPhones and iPads, but I’m not sure about lap top
This tool will not be able to help you with any IMObilizer related problems in newer cars and component protection. But if you have a older car and you do know security codes it will do it. All other functions like basic settings measuring blocks adaptations and all the code reading and clearing functions work just fine. So yes you could check the oil temp of your trans with it
It can do what ever vcds can and more, there are paid options of recoding and retrofitting that will change configuration of the modules automatically depending on what is available in the module and what you want to do with it
EDGEMOTORS ok sounds pretty good, thanks. Wonder how Ross Tech will compete with this, or maybe they will have to produce something similar and lower their price point.
It's a great tool. I've had some issues on older cars with access to modules but apart from that it works great and is a powerful little tool

Can this work for swapping ECMs and transmission modules?
No, you need access to vw/Audi servers to do that
@@EDGEMOTORS can I use this to do at least monitor oil temperature for oil replacement in cvt ?

Nice! Does it work on iphone? Can I buy it in USA. Will it work on 2007 Audi A6 3.2L? Can I do oil reset with this tool?
Yes you can, OBDeleven.com
iPhone app is on the way they said...
Is it just for fault codes, or can it activate actuators like VCDS can?
