Wow!! I changed how I tie my boots and I can feel a huge difference. Better blood flow to the legs and less pressure on the ankle!!
This is extremely informative!! (:
I work for y’all in Grand Rapids, MI and this was very informative for me to learn so I can answer customers questions! Sold a nice pair of Snow Peak boots today! But this was helpful for further sales! Thanks!
Big help thank you. I'm a novice looking into starting hiking so well worth a watch
Much INFO Great Video .I can Listen to you talk all day .
Thanks for this video. I laced both pairs of my boots as recommended this week and it was 100% better. Thank you, wish I had known this 20 years ago.
that's an amazing video, thanks for the information
Great video, very helpful. Thank you.
Great video. Very information-dense, and best of all, no music!
Really good tips and well presented, thanks!
great video! Really useful!
Concise and helpful! Cheers
Madam...that was more than a little bit of advice. Thank you very much - very informative and helpful. :)
just great video, thanks
Nifty tips. Also important is to put your feet backward (and not forward) in the boot while tying it. This goes for any shoe or boot, by the way. In my younger years, I put them on wrong because I put my foot forward too much. Done it that way for years until somebody straightened me out on how to properly fit a hiking boot. It's amazing how something as seemingly simple as putting on footwear can go wrong. :P
Gorgeous hair...so pretty!
So short, so simple, so helpful thank you!
I came back for this video again.
More Gemma!

what hair products do you use?
Nice presentation, Covered everything You need to know:
Now, which boot should I wear today: 80+ pairs 👍🤣
Just purchased a pair of boots. They are probably a size bigger than my foot length.
I have a 27cm foot length without socks and the boots are a 28cm.
Size 9.
They have a very pointed toe are but my toes can move freely. They were a bit loose at the heel and I put thicker socks on andna insole.
Seems to have stopped the slippage.
When I stand on the insole I have purchased out of the boot there is a just slightly over a fingers width from the front of the insert to the end of my big toe. The thing is when I put the insoles in the boot the insole does not go all the way to the tip of the boot because its more of a round shape.
This would mean that my toe would be a lot further away from the front of the boot it self.
The insoles are definitely a nine. Is this just the effect of the boots having a pionted style at the front?
Your accent is damn adorable!!!
@Dane Welkersen Fuck off.
Sounds like she lives near me.
She must be from Macclesfield.
With this amount of consideration, I guess buying boots online without trying seems like a disaster!
Good morning your dress the store boots please
In this day and age, men wearing purple boots should not be looked down upon Gemma!
I'm about to get my first pair of hiking boots and am confused about something related to sizing. Some people advise getting hiking boots that fit on the snug side when they're new because they say the boots will stretch, while other people advise the opposite and advise getting hiking boots that fit on the looser side because feet will swell with heat and use. Which is it?
Wish I knew. Same problem.
What did you end up buying
@@Joselyn548 I went slightly.... slightly.... up, and I think that was the right call. The fabric might stretch ever so slightly but the foot bed won't and having that sized just a little large let me wear thicker socks without squashing my toes.
I wish I knew as well.
So many conflicting advice on the internet.
Some say a Half a size to size up ,I even saw one in which the advice for a very long hike you should go 2 sizes up.
I think one of the problems is show manufacturers are not all the same on sizes.
I had a problem when I purchased a pair of shoes in my so called size which is an 8. They ended up too small so I thought I must be a size nine now. So I got a pair in size nine perfect.
Only to find out that this manufacturer is actually a size down on there shoe size chart.
Size 8 on their sizing guide is 26 cm instead of 27cm. So I thought I was now a nine.
Purchased another pair of shoes from another manufacturer in a nine and it turned out on their quide the 9 years is 28cm.
So I think 8 or 9 etc is only a very basic quide.
I'd sure like to talk to someone who has hiked the entire PCT/CDT in something like Danner Mtn Lights or Salomon boots.
My boot fits perfectly length wise. Width? Completely unwearable!
What language is this?
So complex 😭😥😢
Eermm..eermm..eermm..
British women seem so snobby
If you mute the video she looks like she overdosed on muscle relaxers...
Don't understand???You seem to be someone with a very limited knowledge of UK. What a weird comment. If you're referring to her can only think you're not English and think everyone speaks like the queen. Her accent is far from snobby possibly from the north west and is very natural and not all snobby in fact the complete opposite.
She sounds absolutely fine to me! Snobby......yeh, whatever!
Gorgeous hair...so pretty!
