- My buddy Max and I spin our tires on one of Fruita's iconic trail systems; 18 Road.
Within that trail system is a fun little 2 mile rip called Kessel Run. It's fast, fun and flowy.
The ride up 18 Road to where this video starts off takes about 10-20 minutes for most riders.

I rode this with my niece about 8 years ago - it was a rush! Made the trip from MN for some winter riding - worth every mile!
Fruita never disappoints. Such a cool place to ride!
Very simple looking trail but looks like a lot of fun! Kind of gives me the feeling of the days carving concrete ditches on my skateboard.

Thank you for the video. This is a SWEET simple D.H. ride back to the parking lot. DON'T ride up the road to get to it. Go up Prime Cut. Or -if you are mentally challenged -ride UP it! Your "quality miles" will be increased. A favorite!
P.S. - if you ride this from the main parking lot - you don't have to "carry" anything. If your bike is in order - no backpack, no Camelback. You will be back to the parking lot in short order. I carry(cage on frame) a few sips of water on these rides. I have seen "wagon trains" of people on these rides. I have blown these "trains" - and heard - "look! that guy isn't carrying anything!" same goes for Prime Cut/P.B.R. and most of the rest of it.
