I'd highly recommend giving it a shot. I'm not a runner but the biggest reason I wear Halos are to prevent sweat from getting on my sunglasses. In a cycling position we're pointing our heads kind of downward as compared to a runner's head position, which is more upright and looking forward. I suspect a Halo headband would work even better for a runner than for a cyclist. Give Halo a try and lemme know how it works for ya. 👊🏻

I've always wanted to try the Mallets but never got around to pulling the trigger on them. They seem like good pedals tho.

@@RideWithGravity they are good pedals but they break down a lot. I was having issues with the clip mechanism rattling around and the brass cleats are just a dumb idea. And I paired em with the crank bros shoes and I couldn't run them stock as the pedals wouldn't connect with the cleats. I ended up having to put 2 shims in each which is kinda weird.

@@RideWithGravity my hero8 is still going strong but I’ve been eyeing insta360 X3 as you can post a vertical and a horizontal shot from the same video. The quality is as good or better than GoPro.

It depends on your weight, riding style and size of tire. I'm on the heavier end of the spectrum and I ran about 25psi front & rear on 27.5" tires and on 29" tires I run 28psi up front and 30psi in the rear. But I live in Grand Junction where it's super rocky. If I rode trails that were more dirt than rock I'd drop the psi a bit. There are a couple of tests that I like to do to dial in tire pressure: 1) The sharp edge test. When riding at your higher speeds, figure out if your pressure is so low that you ding your rim; if so, add air. If not, drop by 2psi and repeat. 2) The high speed corner test. Find a corner that you're really comfortable with. As you hit that corner, see if you can feel the tires getting wobbly or wiggly in the apex. If so, add 2psi and repeat. Bonus points for wheelies. 🍸

Good video! I’ve been using the saint clipless with the sh56 for a couple months and never had an issue with accidental unclip. I was worried initially about that but after riding double black rated DH trails and some tech climbing, the sh56 does help a lot. Good luck!

Thanks, Paul! I'll give you the same advice every great musician ever told me: it comes down to practice. Regular dudes like us don't get a lot of practice installing CushCore but when you watch the guys at the shop so it they make it look easy. It's all practice. With practice comes refinement in technique. That leads to an easier experience each time you do it. The further you can pull the bead over, the more access you'll have with your lever. And don't be actually to experiment with new tire levers. Different levers work for different people. It's ironic that you reached out, I'm currently having great difficulty mounting new tires onto a new set of wheels. When everything is brand new it's at it's most difficult to install. CushCore makes a thing called a Bead Dropper and another tool called a Bead Bro Install Tool. They aren't super expensive, I'm gonna look further into those tools and see if they can help me get this install completed.

Thanks man! You'll love Falcon, it's like a roller coaster. In that video I'm running a Hero 7 on a chesty without any gimbal but I've recently added a single axis gimbal made by Quark. I prefer not to wear a gimbal but they keep the horizon line steady and flat so you can see the leaning of the bike more accurately. I've heard that the newest Hero has even better stabilization and doesn't need a gimbal at all.
