      Right? Gotta love a new do. And when the artist who does your do is none other than Andy Sweet, it's a cut you can be proud of! 🙌

      Thanks so much. I struggle with them some times. This video for example, I had the riding footage cut 5 weeks ago but it took me 5 weeks to finally select the right Alan Watts piece for the time lapse. It was frustrating. I had a great Terrance Mckenna piece but it was kind of lengthy and then I was trying to find something by Bill Burr and then I couldn't make up my mind and I'd get pissed of and have to take a break. I don't know why I fuss over things like that. 🥴

    What camera do you use? I use the gopro hero 7 in super view and it is not as wide as a shot as yours! Dope video!

    • @RideWithGravity
      @RideWithGravity  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! That opening time lapse was shot on a Nikon D7000 with an 80-200mm lens at about 135mm if I recall. But the rest of the video was shot with a pair of Hero 7 cameras. The camera in my pocket that I use for random stuff is on its narrowest setting and my chest cam is on super view.

    My head gets hot under my helmet. Limits my climbing ability and makes me want to not wear it. Recommended helmets?

    • @RideWithGravity
      @RideWithGravity  Před 3 lety +1

      Unfortunately I don't have much to offer. I'm in the same boat. I've had a TLD half shell for about 6 years and I'm saving up for the Fox Dropframe but that's probably going to be on the hot end of helmets because it has more helmet covering my face. Eventually I get used to it but on hot days like we've been having lately, it's hard to find the balance.

    Do you like the i9 grade 300s? I'm looking to get them for DH I have blown up a few rims not sure which ones to get that are gonna be the strongest?

    • @RideWithGravity
      @RideWithGravity  Před 3 lety +1

      I love them. I-9 turned me into a wheel snob. If I'm not mistaken I think the Grade 300's are their heaviest duty wheel. That's what I run and I'm a clydesdale with a wake of broken wheels in my path. I've had really good luck with i9's. The engagement is addicting. When you feel how quickly they get your input headed toward the wheels, most other wheels feel a bit sloppy.
