Garnacho needs to learn to get his head up and see where his team-mates are.
McT proved what we all know but EtH apparently can't see.
We now need to win the FA Cup to realistically get any European football (but if we do at least it'll be Europa). I dunno why but I just think we might … I know that's delusional but somehow today gave me a bit of hope. Sling in Bruno and Maguire, retain Amrabat and Amad AND PASS TO HØJLUND!

  • @nialloneill5097
    @nialloneill5097 Před 15 dny +1

Agree with flavour of arguments in the show. I said at start of season before a ball was kicked, we would come 8th, unless overperformed...then maybe 5-6th, or if underperform as low as 10-11th. This was an intuitive sense, and acknowledgement that many teams have been improving in recent yrs, and were already playing us off the park, even at OT, and I am talking mid table clubs, such as Villa and Wolves and Brighton. Teams below these have increasingly played us off the park, and it was only their profligate finishing, and worldie goals by Bruno, or Dave's saves... that gave us tight wins. We were not dominating, and there was a real lack of goal threat after CR7, Cavani and Mason went. Before that we were limited in our play, and relied on a few players for goals, proving we were not breaking down teams. This is all proved we lacked quality around the team...fruits from Glazeromics that has all but destroyed this club, and yesterday's scenes were fitting, especially with a high table committee casting an eye over OT, with one eye on a new stadium. I shall miss OT if it goes, I don't think we'll get the same kind of atmosphere; it's happened everywhere...the Upton Parks etc...all pulled down. The soul of football has been lost as neoliberalism has devastated communities and social status...of which a person's football club was an extension. Most of those memories and places well-buried now. The football-agree that Amrabat and Amad should have had game time, Casemiro needed dropping, I would have tried Dalot at RCB-played there before...some pace...even a back 3 and drop McT in too, bring Amass in as forward thinking wing back. Eth though sticks stubbornly with his ideas, and I think he sounds like someone fighting for his job. The arrogance and bull in recent weeks has been cringeworthy and blood-curdling. We are now in a process? he hopes Ineos will back his process? He helped get rid of Ralf-there was no process. He was hired to save the face of the Glazers...no need for a Reset, and last 13 yrs has been acceptable-just as 1=0 losses are, for we know on another day that could have been 6 or 7. At the end of the day Eth is one of the last of the Glazerites, a Glazer Cronie...maybe he can coach, but he sold his soul to those crooks, when Ralf was pushed through the back door. We would be looking at a different player profile by now if Ralf had been helping out...instead, we face the worst season in living memory, apart from when we were relegated. The rain summed it up...tears of heartbreak from the heavens...due to the state of our team and stadium. Let's see if we get a transferwindow to provide a glimmer of hope, rather than the debacles that usually ensue under the Glazer regime. Is there a wind of change flowing through the terraces at OT...I hope so. As for the Cup Final...why not out the U18s in...most of em, they are champions, play good football, and are confident.

Getting rid of the highest paid waste of a squad number is gonna be hard, so here's my suggestion..... Create an entire second starting 11.
Academy players, young hungry signings that need games and a couple of experienced heads with great injury records.
TELL them, they will be second choice and pay them accordingly.
Sign them all early, and before the pre season tour.
Play 1st 11 vs 2nd 11 in training all summer.
Play 1st 11 in the 1st half of games and 2nd 11 in the second half of games (pre-season)
Then, when the season starts, unless the starting 11 are on fire in pre season, I'd start the 2nd 11 for the first 10 games.
Give them a real chance to play together regularly, as a unit.
After 10 games, start introducing the first 11 if they DESERVE to be in the starting 11.
    Make the divas humble again.
Make them earn their place and respect the so called fringe players.
Doing it to the whole group protects the manager from victimisation accusations and absolutely stamps his ultimate authority In the changing room.

Consider this: Picture Eric Ten Hag leading Real Madrid or Barcelona. Would he falter in such prestigious clubs? Unlikely. Then, why is he struggling this season? It suggests that there are deeper issues within Manchester United. Is it a matter of confidence, the condition of the playing field, training facilities, the fitness regime, the quality of players, or perhaps even factors like oversized TV screens in the stadium? It's hard to pinpoint, but it's clear that Ten Hag isn't the root of the problem.

But this was always going to be the problem with Onana. The massive point that nobody considered is that Onana at Ajax could stroll out with the ball at his feet and pick passes at will because the opposition just defended so deep. No pressure at all. Its the polar opposite in the prem. Teams will press a keeper and the back line to force the error. Because this isn't the Dutch Eredivisie. Which is on a par with our Division 1. Its the prem. Totally different animal. That to me sums up TEN Hags zero knowledge or appreciation of what he would be up against. And the stats and results and performances bare that out. He wasted every single penny of that £50 million on Onana because he was vastly over paying for something that could never work. And it hasn't. Instead of totally shitting on De Gea, he should have stayed and that money should have been invested elsewhere. Instead of buying Mount (which was a strange signing for £55 million) that money wasted could have got Declan Rice. And I have no doubt Rice would be captain too.

You can only play the XI on the pitch in front of you. Whilst we all talk about how poor defensively we have been and the reasons why, injuries and changed defensive line ups, the ridiculous way we defend corners in this zonal marking system and can't pick up players on the edge of the box, huge gaps between midfield and defence etc. etc. etc. we have to also discuss the elephant in the room, we can't score enough, we have good individual players up front but they don't seem to be able to operate as a unit. I absolve Amad a bit from this because he just hasn't had the minutes to blend into the attacking unit. I hope EtH stays for next season, but if not Ancelotti anyone?

Once again as in Ole's downfall,Eric picking his continually failing favourites in Antony,Mctominay,Casemiro and Rashford instead of Dialo,Amrabat,Hannibal or even giving Wheatley or Charlie Mcneill a try.
Amrabat would have tightened the middle of he pitch these last four months and we'd be at least pushing for top 5 .

How's it happened ? Because Rashford's goals last year papered over the cracks. Plus poor signings and injuries. Don't see it chaging for a while, but of course I hope I'm wrong.
Only plus point for me is the youth we have at the club, but it's disappointing that their spirit could be broken by the lack of maturity and form from the more seasoned players at the club.
As for Amad he needs to play now so we can include him in the starting eleven. Because Ten Hag needs to stop playing his favourites.
As for Ten Hag's comments, not sure they're helping his cause because they're non sensical and embarrassing at times.
FA Cup hope, that somehow City throw away the title and they're on edge knowing they could throw all three cups away !

No he.played well today he is a good bench player.
He played really well last year no injuries since coming back from injury he has played better each game.
Lack of depth is why United are struggling.
Sacking everyone who has had a bad season is completely bonkers.
Maybe those who want the complete clean out could find £300 to £400 million on top of the minimum 6 transfer's United is hoping to complete.That's£600 to £700 million spend to put us where Chelsea was last season trying to find good combinations of player's by spending your way out of the problem.
United won't have that type of money available for at least 2 more years.
Ratcliffe is buying United for £2 billion over true valuation.
That's why it's taking so long to change ownership Ratcliffe had bought United on a layby deal a deposit then paying the Glazer's out.
The more value Ratcliffe creates the higher price he has to pay.
So United will have to keep the best of the worst and rely on a continuous upgrade bringing in acdemy player's and adding young dynamic player's that wil take at least three more transfer breaks not including longterm injuries. 15:34
