Sorry, but he's not had two good games all season and he spent £140m on Antony and Mount. We've had great wingers and spaffed our budget on more when we needed other areas covered. I'd probably get Tuchel in. Even better, just choose a style and stick to it for a decade and get in the best managers at that style, which may even be him in the short term (if the style we choose is no midfield whatsoever....😂😂😂).

The sancho situation is so shit. Player doesn't train well, late for training routinely, manager who gave him 2 months off to get in shape mentally and physically finally has enough and when asked about said player, says he didn't train well enough to be in team. Sancho comes out with a statement saying manager is lying and implies he doesn't like how eth plays Antony ahead of him
What I don't understand is why some people don't think sancho should leave. Like, if you're eth and have a player that trains shit and plays shit (sancho) of course you're going to start the player that plays shit but trains well at least (antony).
Let's not forget that he was poor under ole who basically let him do whatever he wanted. If you think managers like pep, or klopp would put up with that you're mad

Rating Ten Hags man management skills isn't difficult. Antony and Martinez said they'd follow him to United before United signed for them. Onana followed him. Amrabat came to United. If he wasn't so good with man management none of those players would've made the move to United for him.

    • @shafer.chris.2244
      @shafer.chris.2244 Před měsícem +8

maybe, just maybe you should look a little deeper into WHY they would follow him to united?? could it possible be the incredible wage increase they'd all receive???? use your brain man
Martinez Ajax wage per week £20k
      Martinez utd wage £120k
      onana inter wage £62k
      onana utd wage £120k
      antony wage ajax £25k
      antony utd wage £200k
      amrabat wage fiorentina £32k
      amrabat wage utd £65k
every player is making twice as more or more than their wages from before.
it had nothing to do with ETH, because if he really had the man management skills you claim than De jong would be on utd right now, because ofcourse utd could match and exceed his wages at Barcelona but De Jong doesn't want to play for ETH. Nothing to so with UTD. De jong is paid very well for Barca and even a pay increase couldn't entice him yo come play for ETH again.
so your point is stupid. he is shite and his man management skills are amateur at best. he better with ajax because it's a bunch of kids who have no stature in the game yet.

Guys, this is what I am talking about. Here in this channel we had a Premier league pisstake video called "Better than Arteta. Now we talk about how he is a tactical manager. I am not saying he is not. But there was a point 2-3 yrs ago he looked like he had no clue what he was doing. He had no managerial experience prior to Arsenal. In our situation ten Haag has a better CV. It is not entirely wrong to assume that he is working towards something. It looks like the players believe in him. We as a fan base do not have the patience with out manager and applaud Arsenal for sticking with Arteta during difficult times.

Revisionist nonsense. Arteta finished 8th in his first full season and won the FA cup, but he had older and some say problem playes in the team like Aubameyang. He then finished 5th in his 2nd full season but you could clearly see the improvements and the style of play was there. He then challenged for the league in his 3rd and 4th season. Ten Hag has regressed massively and our football is horrible.

And that is exactly what United fans are doing right now. Before the 2022-23 season, Arsenal's game was garbage. Plus they have a better structure in the club than United. Arteta had experience in the league with City and playing for Arsenal. They did not have the number of injuries we have. For all the praise he is getting, he has not won anything other than a FA cup. So lets hold our horses and be patient with the manager we have in hand.

If you actually look at Tuchel’s ‘failing outs’, the Dortmund one really stemmed from disagreements with the CEO over transfers and agreeing to play the champions league game the day after the bus was bombed. Since then, Dortmund have been managed by an assortment of ‘Yes’ men and they dumped the one who wasn’t (Marco Rose) after a year for happy smiley Terzic. You can’t blame him for what happened at Chelsea surely, he was tremendously successful and look at the mess they’ve been in since, and they’ve had a couple of placid Yes men in charge too. He’s the only manager to advance PSG in Europe (this season aside) and only Emery who is everyone’s darling right now has a better win percentage with them. We can frame him as abrasive, sure. But can we also frame him as someone with ambition and a clear vision who because of that rubbed people up the wrong way? Sure, let’s castigate him for wanting to be the best and being ambitious.
When he started at Mainz, he guided them to their best ever finish in the Bundesliga, higher than another darling in Jurgen Klopp. The Bayern one, we talk about Ten Hag having turmoil behind the scenes, but Bayern sacked their Sporting Director and CEO in the Summer, so either changes and upheaval behind the scenes at a club has an impact on the first team or it doesn’t. He’s also a game away from being in his 3rd CL final in 5 years with a 3rd different team and that’s not to be scoffed at either.

Keep ten Hag. Allow the new structure to get settled and determine the long term philosophy and style of football for the club.
Use summer 2024 and January 2025 windows to clear out deadwood and start to bring in talent that fits the long term philosophy/style. Also use that time to build a short list of managers who can coach the determined philosophy/style.
ten Hag has until December 2024 to demonstrate the style of play consistently and a reasonable place in the table (top 4).

I think Ten Hag is a good coach, it's very complicated trying to implement certain things in football especially with the crop of players he has at his disposal. He was also imo entirely misunderstood when he said he won't play like he did in ajax. I think he meant that man u and ajax are two different clubs completely and he realised that quickly at the beginning of last season. He is trying to implement the ideologies he has about football and also merge them with Manchester Uniteds DNA. Play the football he wants without stripping away our identity.inutes ago
The ways he has handle off the pitch situations, our youth developments recently things he deserves a lot of credit for. Now is he stubborn? Yes, but he learns you look at now Anthony's minutes. I for one am of the opinion that he deserves more time, the quality of managers isn't attractive enough to pull the trigger as well.

You can use the same argument about Tuchel when talking about Kane. Kane is the downfall of Bayern this season by implication of them not winning the title.
Guess what, these guys would never ever say that. Leverkuson having their season is independent of Tuchel. But if you think Tuchel is crap, you can say the same argument about Kane too. Take your bias out of it.

Good show i enjoyed it. As far as fixing united it starts with the dressing room and the spine. 2-3 centerbacks who can play a high line and depending on who leaves a cdm or 6 that can tackle and is press resistant and disciplined who can pass and dribble the ball forward. And finally a striker to rotate with rasmus. The key to all this is who we can sell and for how much. I also have said it before and will say it again the position to spend on quality is the 6. All the top teams have primo cdms and have put 100mil into that oart of the field if we dont as well we will not be able to compete with the top 3. Cheers fellas.

We are the most “styles make fights” applicable team in the Prem. Was already in the camp of keep ETH but Joe certainly won the argument. Actually came prepared and backed up the argument with facts and examples. Ten Hag needs another season to prove whether he’s the caliber of manager who has results like last season or this one. He needs one more season to prove whether he handled season’s crap properly. Next season will tell. Hopefully he gets the backing and the fit players to do that.

my main skepticism of the ETH project is he said he wanted us to be the best transitional team in football but ive honestly not seen anything that suggests thats a good idea. Idk maybe Im way off but I feel like we should want to be a more dominating possession based team, not like City but every decent team in world football usually has a system based around control and control is the main thing we lack I think.

The worry I have with the manager is I still can’t see how we play. When Fergie came and he was struggling in the first few years, you could see he had a plan though he didn’t have the players. Ten Hag hasn’t got the players but some of them he’s bought, which is a concern. The fact the players aren’t playing for the manager is to their shame and symptomatic of the modern over paid player. Juries out for me but is there anyone to replace him.

Interesting analogy... however, if my school was paying me 250K a week to get A stars, I'd be listening to my teacher and doing as I was told. Sancho didn't respect that.. he's entitled to his opinion that he should have been playing instead of Antony and feel slightly pissed off that Ten Hag said his performance in training that week was sub standard, but he reacted unprofessionally and sort of paranoid which didn't help. He wasn't putting the work in on matchdays and also apparently in training.. he wasn't even turning up to class on time. You're not getting A stars with that attitude and Man Utd aren't getting anywhere with that shit.

Out most likely: Case, Eriksen, Hannibal, Pellestri, Sancho, Evans, Greenwood (52M salaries!)
Could argue an out: Shaw, Lindelof, Antony, Rashford, McTominay, Maguire, AWB (57M salaries!)
Dont believe weve ever sold 10 players but def could sell 10-12, loan 3-5. Could easily free up 90-120M salaries plus at least 100M transfer fees.

  • @XboneMalone
    @XboneMalone Před 29 dny

I agree with hipster Gandalf. Keep him. Club was a mess, still has been. Injuries have wrecked this season relying on defenders that didn't think they'd be playing (Evans), weren't needed (Maguire) & we extended their contract to increase value (Lindeloff). He showed the potential of the fit 1st 11 last season, we haven't had that this. tenHag won't have said sign Antony for silly money, oh and pay him nearly £180k a week too - the figures are on the those no longer at the club.
At Utd, we want to see the best of our youth team given opportunities in the !st 11. We have a manager that no only gets that, but is adept at doing so - identifying ability/talent, development of potential.

For all his faults at least De Gea was an unbelievable shot stopper, Golden glove winner and someone who had high standards! Brought in Onana For his playing out the back qualities and hes not even good at it, poor at shot stopping and playing out from the back. Replacing De Gea wasn’t a priority, and then signing mount with one year left for 60 million is ridiculous. Antony wasn’t worth half the amount we paid even more so now weve seen him in the league! And i really like hojlund but he is no where near worth 70 mill and definitely not good enough to lead the line for manchester united. Lisandro Martinez is the only good signing hes made and his obsession with signing dutch/ players that have played in the dutch league is proving poorly as well. Shocking substitutions and the style of play is nonexistent! Theres plenty of managers that have come i to the league and hit the ground running with an identity and style of play regardless of opposition and injuries. To top it off hes had a fall out with so many of the players even ones hes signed! Get him out and rebuild around the likes of Martinez, Maino, Garnacho and Fernandes

Thats a player issue because when amad plays theres more control but before amad was available we had no one to bring on to "save" the game so to speak or see a game out... because of his stoic nature his done what jose did towards the end where his playing players who are not good enough to play so he can rest players who need resting and play players who are nto godo enough to show the board this is the Shhhh i tteeee i gotta deal.... His covered the glazers asss as does every other manager but is also showing ineos this is the crap i gotta deal with this is the resources i got anthony really is the only flop his had if we being fair and tbh it shouldnt be left just on eth recruitment is an issue not jsut on him the club could have quite easily said no or give alternatives but they dont know any better we have to give th one season witha.
