    The Midfield with Mainoo is going to be the most important thing for United! Look at Rodri at City or Rice at Arsenal. You need an Engine player who is physically built (i.e. 6'1 or 6'2) but has a commanding presence in that midfield while also being an Engine for 90min....

    Sometimes you hope Man Utd do alright but however the team needs a good streak of players seeing regular time gelling and I hope when it clicks it works well. This season 23/24 the start was awful and half the games they've won hardly celebrated it even recently in the FA Cup I mean I was in shock it happend. But the games that means a lot
    Man Utd v Liverpool again this time Premier League on 07/04/24 that is pride forget anything else. Then you have Wembley where Coventry v Man Utd FA Cup semi final is another big game in a month where I didn't expect much but got some tough games Newcastle, Arsenal at home.

    Think its a very realistic 11 but personally not so keen on the attacking options. Olise has been injury prone for some time, is a good player but been overhyped....but he is no good on the treatment table and on the left Rashford has had competition this season, of course Garnacho will get better but I think we are massivrly improved defensively with your predictions....not sure we are offensively

    I don’t think it’s a priority to buy a RW this summer. Eze is a great player and would be a great winger. But having Antony as a back up to Garnacho is sufficient. We need a striker that can compete with Hojlund. We need at least 2 very good strikers in a team to compete for the league. A starting CB is also crucial. We cannot play a high line with Maguire, and we need either someone who can play instead of or replace (a back up also requires in this case) Varane. Lastly, a CDM to replace Casemiro.

    @SkullSnax Před měsícem +1

    As much as I hope for that kind of an 11 I'm much more focused on our squad than our starters, and I think that should be the focus after this season.
    United's squad is not fit for purpose. Nobody on the bench is a true "like for like" with any of Ten Hag's core players for his system.
    It's like Ten Hag is trying to run a washing machine, and Lisandro Martinez is a Fairy Non-Bio Laundry Pod. If you take him out, if he's not available, then you should be picking from a different brand of pod, or a Bio pod, or a non-brand pod. Tweaks the formula but the system doesn't need to change because it does the same job.
    And Maguire, Evans, Varane, they're like a bar of soap. Will it get the clothes clean? Sort of, yes. But you can't run the machine the same way you did with a pod, and those changes are going to be a pain, they're going to make the system less efficient, they're going to make other parts of the system look bad.
    And I make that comparison because it's the most stark, but I could just as easily be talking about Dalot vs Wan-Bissaka, or Hojlund vs Rashford, or Shaw vs Lindelof, or Casemiro vs McTominay. We're littered with these problems. And until they're fixed the issues with injuries will continue because the drop-off from starter to second choice may as well be the dropoff from a washing machine to soaking your clothes in the bath. Ten Hag is always going to want to use the best players for his system and he can't play 60+ games a season with the same 11.

    with you 1000% on lisandro hes the captain hes first to remind of puyol who along with baresi played as all time great of sheer mentality, intelligence, organizations, focus, determination and fearlessness. Baresi and maldini are y two favorites I never compare any to them but puyol I see far fro la masia boy he was sheer relentlessness and loyalty ultimate captain almost like maldini ,altough only one play for same club as father and lifted european cup as captain and one club career.
    Just those games martinez was back as youve said if you have any eye for game you see 180 degree change in composure and competitiveness. It challenges all skill players or any player to play with intensity Pique was liability but nothing like he was without puyol and he is first to say this. Also first to say cant coach what he had and "disadvantages" same as carlos smaller but unique use low center of gravity as low leverage. He has even better ball skill not saying he will be carlos or baresi obviously but he personifies one of greatest sayings ever play for nae on front of shirt and they will never forget nae on back. He has such an ipact on varane even before world cup final in walk out he gave hi huge hug hes who you want to have your back. He wears the shirt again like a carlos. Hope he stays healthy he canlead right squad of players to titles and multiple hes a chapion and relentless. chapeau man. Koby needs a strong partner to let hi go forward too aybe only tactic change needs to happen other than that just right players healthy and depth. Garnacho ran for 120 minutes yesterday at world class level as winger and was involved in 3 goals. It was kante like effort obviously in whole other world style position wise. I always loved makelele with zidane times have changed but mainoot covers deceptive ground hes so smooth and graceful yet goes forward with such threat too he needs partner and benfica are football factory. Sporting and porto are great too but where I live we are all casa benfica!
    We have players like bruno, koby, lisandro who get better with better players and wwelcoe depth not threatened by it as copetition and thats mark of chapion tea thats ETH or anyone has to clean out of this squad no etitleent everything earned and martine exemplifies that like few players in world. Maccalister, alvarez , enzo , more exemplify this and show why they were world cup champs and why so many are playing ajor roles on top clubs. Roero, enzo, garnacho will have his tie if doesnt switch to spain, otaendi, paredes, lo celso, depaul montiel, molina they ran themselves into ground and bullied a dutch tea twice their size. Romero lisandro, and dibu in goal is my drea cb pair and keeper and remind almost again like spain 08-10-12 chapion runs as they have copa, finalissia, wc, and copa favorites again they are so good and diverse. Bruno fan but im portuguese fun fact joao is joe i portuguese hence its popularity as first name :) great vid love your style and vision sae type teams I "dream" of seeing

    Still on the fence about Onana - he has a very unorthodox way of parrying shots that many times will mean that the saves mean nothing. I played as a goalkeeper for 35 years and we were always taught that when you cannot catch the ball, you need to parry it away from danger - be it to the side or over the bar. What you don't want is to make a great save and be beaten by an immediate rebound because you left the ball in the danger area. In yesterday's match, Salah's goal should never have happened if his technique was better. I can understand parrying in front of you when you save a point blank shot, but when you dive and get a good hand to the ball, you can easily control where the ball goes, and the stronger the shot, the more distance you can get when you parry.

    Listening to Sir Jim it does seem like we’re going to be taking a different approach and try to attract younger talents to build around instead of this Utd ‘galactico’ experiment that has failed so badly however I don’t see that being 80 million or the absurd amount Benfica want for the likes of Antonio Silva.
    Dorgu would be brilliant for the future maybe bring him in and give him cup ties + minutes off the bench to relish his potential.
    I do think though our left back target should have premier league experience and really do think that Antonee Robinson or Pervis Estupinan would be the perfect fits for us. Garnacho is also not only statistically but eye test also better on the right wing I think it compliments his play style so much more so I really don’t know what’s going on there in terms of what wing we’ll be looking at although I do say bring back Greenwood. Completely agree on the a more experienced back up striker (free) option … Iheancho could fit that profile but I’d much prefer Bruno Petkovic.
