The official Genji Instagram account posted that they've stopped working on this project after releasing only one chapter. It's sad that we won't see the end of Genji's story, but I'm glad we got to experience it even a little bit!
Do you think the team got assimilated into the Avatar Studios? Their work didn’t go unnoticed I would hope.
With the past avatars that many of us assumed "killed" in spirit form, but it's actually severing the connection completely. If any newer avatars want to find them, you have to scout around in the Spirit World to reconnect them again.

I thought after the light spirit died they reset the avatar concept
I don't get the logic honestly... If wan and rava are bonded together forever... Then every Avatar after wan is just wan's spirit in a new body... There is no older aangs spirit they all have the same spirit
Korra managed to reconnect with Rava, but it seems that she cannot talk to her pasts. I believe that she unintentionally rebooted the Avatar cycle so Genji at this time would only be able to connect with Rava and Korra
Great analysis there! However, if I remember correctly, Jinora's reassurance is more because Korra sacrificed herself to stop a giant fiery spirit explosion even bigger than Kuivira's that the public is uncertain on whether she died in the avatar state. I will verify later

oh god, I didn't know this was a thing. I don't keep super up to date with it but I was teared up throughout the whole recap but especially at the shot of Azumi and an aged Naga. 😭 goddammit i'm going to have to watch this fan series and suffer. you're right, Hans Zimmer could never.
The quality of this video is astonishing, it's so well made. The only thing I really noticed was the detail meter, I personally think that that makes it look more like a "this many details before we're done" instead of overanalyzing. I honestly would try and replace it, but if that's the way you like to make your videos you should keep it!

At 5:34 the catfish-moose type creature is actually seen in ATLA in S03E07 - The Runway, by the rich man in the carriage Toph and Sokka scam money bags from. The creature pulls his carriage.

They even go deep into the personality types of the characters to explain them; like Genji is an ISTP, he wants risks and facts. I love how creative fans are; I’ve seen fan fictions better than the original canon of varying series.

there rnt really any black characters in atla cause everyone was based on asian, tibetan and inuit culture and ppl
there r a few exceptions, like for example pathik being indian but not really any black characters, cause that wouldnt fit the setting

It was a new idea for Genji. She was gonna be from a new culture of water/earth benders who lived on floating cities on the ocean. Similar to other hidden cultures in ATLA like the swamp benders or sun warriors
None of the character are race specific in this cartoon although the cultures represented are influenced by real life people's, like native Inuit tribes Asian/indian, Mayan and turag people of North Africa. Just like the animals are hybrids so are the people, that's my theory anyway.
