I would go ahead and pull the trigger you won't be disappointed that's the same set up I had with a Vararam Intake and I eventually got a Fast LSXr 102 intake manifold. The car did 450 to the wheels without a proper dyno tune on stock converter. If you haven't already I'd also get some really good tires. Them vettes don't fuck around lol keep me updated with your build and whatever you do don't be an idiot like me I traded in the vette because it was having major issues I regret that decision every day.
I also got the vararam intake. I have nitto nt05r them tires grip pretty good. What problems was you having right now I'm having the stupid steering position sensor pissing me off.
Sorry for the late reply I don't check my channel to much. The camkit was like I think 650-700 and then another like 1800-2300 for labor and miscellaneous parts it all just depends but I'd reccomend taking it to a reputable shop and having it done right the first time.
@@Horrorfan_Hayabusa hey man thanks a lot for responding... Woww that's a lil expensive but worth it cause we are corvette guys lol .. I just wanted to have a clue of how much cost this job ... Peace and greetings from Florida
Thanks man yeah it was definitely worth the money without a doubt. What year is your Corvette and how's the mod list going so far? If you don't want to swing a cam you can still do an intake and I'd recommend going with some nice headers. Speed engineering makes a great kit for the money that's what I had on mine and if you get a nice street tune you'll get some great noise and a nice little bump in power. Cheers from Texas and good luck with your car.
@@Horrorfan_Hayabusa mine is a 2005 no mods for now just muffler delete and bigger tips but yes I will definitely take your advice about those mods which are the ones I had on mind ... Intake and long tube headers thanks again and good luck with your car also greetings from Florida
@@diygf9796 Had a small issue with fitment on passenger side but nothing an exhaust shop couldn't fix real easy. I had it done at performance shop so they had to take it down the street. Everything else was great would definitely recommend good value for the money.
Love the red black int.
Man I’m just seeing this. It was posted 3 years ago 🥲
That right there is the sound of America 🇺🇸
Are you straight pipe no cats no mufflers???
Yeah no mufflers or anything.
How did this cam effect your fuel economy?
It wasn't too bad but I went with a BTR stage 2 since I kept the stock converter.
Did you have to change your torque converter
I didn't have to I ran mine on the stock converter but if I were to do it again I'd go ahead and spend the extra money on a stall and trans cooler.
I love how it sounds. I just purchased the speed engineering headers xpipe and true exhuast muffler but I'm looking into going stage 2 cans also.

@@panzerwaffen2873 Did you ever get the corvette modded? If so how did you like it?
Headers or stock manifold?
They were speed engineering headers.
