I wanna take some time to clear something up that I got incorrect in this video: Saebyeolbe did not play any OWL matches until stage 3. I'm honestly not sure where I got it in my head that he was first reintroduced in stage 2. I'm sorry for presenting false information and will try my best not to do the same in the future.

Mitchell Copeland Oh i know what he was doing, I am a plat player with the mindset of a gm only held down by shitty tanks and supports 😔😒. I could easily be in OWL if only the scouters for OW teams knew what they were doing. I wouldn’t have whiffed that grav because I know that with my colossal cranium I definitely would have been able to account for the Sombra’s movement distance and I would have hit a direct hit on that Sombra.

Ambipomber167 for starters you don’t need direct contact to capture a sombra. You need to just hit fairly close to her. Michell luckily went through the second entrance instead of the first entrance and even if Nenne didn’t use grab their push would have been shut down by the EMP. The exact thing he was going to try to shutdown. It was simply a case of bad luck and doing something slightly too soon.
That hand caressing between SBB and Flow3r in the playoffs still breaks my heart!
TheUltimateLose r fun fact, they didnt play flow3r because they were losing. It was planned for flow3r to play that map. Sbb felt so bad that they were 0-3 so he asked flower what he can do for him. Flow3r replied if he could hold his habd coz he cant stop shaking

You should do a SiR for the whole season and just go over every stage reviewing a little bit of every team and how things went for them during those stages, that would be amazing to watch

Btw Dividing, Saebyeolbe got to play sombra in stage 3, not stage 2
he also said sbb and the nyxl played against the spitfire in stage 2, when both matches were in stage 3
If there werent loser's bracket, shock would be called choker. If season 1 had loser s bracket, nyxl may end up a championship.
Honestly idk why people thought they choked in s1. Most players were predicting them to lose and have Philly face valiant in the finals. If it hadn't been for the God damn spitfire going on the most ridiculous run we've ever seen of nowhere. Then LA Valiant would've most likely won s1. Even London didn't expect to win. Story goes they were already packing up the team house when they played the valiant, and only a few days before valiant were literally spawncamping them in scrims. There's been so many what if's with these OWL playoffs its been nuts

This is by miles the best OWL series of videos around for the past 3-4 months. I watch content in other languages than English and there are some amazing content creators in these languages too. Even within that world SiR is what I look forward to the most and what I find the most instructive.

I really like your segment on the “nenne grav”. It really did make sense for nenne to use his grav on michelle, but because everyone doesn’t know what actually happened, nenne still gets a lot of negative comments about it. I love that you talked about it though!

Flow3r didn't stop being a good player. The other players just got better than him. He was one of the first good players, like Miro, but the game was still new and all the other DPS players in the game were still learning and improving and some ended up having a higher peak skill than Flow3r.
yeah. miro and flower both are players than can learn and adapt quickly. but the longer their competition can train, the worse they get in comparison

They ran dva because they had to deal with the pharah of Shanghai. It was mentioned and pretty obvious. I believe it was one of philly games where a team ran Mei goats I think with a rein/zarya and eqo was getting barrage literally every 30 seconds. Also, no matter what they played no one was going to stop Shanghai in stage 3.

phili beating nyxl in semi finals season 1 reminds me of seoul beating Shanghai in semi's of this season, an inconsistant team beating the number 1 team in the league when it mattered most, same story all over again

NYXL is my second favorite team... Right after the fuel. I love this team due to it being a New York team and I can agree that they are a team with massive potential and they just need to unlock it. An A isn't that bad.
The villians of Overwatch league themselves the Vancouver Titans. So dominant and powerful but near the end I think the idea of power went to their heads or got it their heads. This team deserves a solid A for everything hell maybe even an A+. I don't like them... But just like Atlanta and just like Ninja... I respect them.

Mano should have been an mvp candidate. I think he was more impactfull than for example Guxue. Just look at him destroying Bumper in the stage 2 semis despite his team losing.

I gotta say, I don’t know if the fusion upset was the biggest upset until that point. We already knew that philly was good at double sniper, and they had made it to the playoffs. An upset, sure, but not as much as season 1 stage 3 week 2 day 2 match 1 imo.

Really you can only say they chocked once this season which was against dynasty you can’t say they chocked against the dragons because then you have to say that shock chocked too. Then they had to play against titans in goats which Is really really hard. And in the overall playoffs they did really well and almost beat the titans.
Yeah I think the Seoul match was the only "real" choke imo. Dragons just pulled out some wild shit out of nowhere that pretty much caught everyone off guard so I don't think anyone could have beat them.

First 2 stages, Fuel qualified for playoffs. Problem: Their QTR Finals marches were both against the titans (Which is pretty bad enough)
Second 2 Stages, I can say I was heavily disappointed with the lack of adaptability (DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEIR DPS COVERED ALL THE HEROES)

Flex Support was worrisome with having only Harryhook (Not saying he’s bad, just worrisome due to lack of rest and a sub)

So to me the term "choke" means you were the odds on favorite to win and you either threw the match due to poor decisions or poor planning. In either case, you lose due to your own hubris.
So in season 2 I would say they are not chokers. They were never really the most dominant and in reality they were trying to keep pace with the Shock and Titans. So in that regard seeing how they played until the bitter end, I would not consider them choking because they did end up losing to the two teams who were considered the best in the league.
