I don’t think they had to say a lot to Charlotte because she likely remembers Meghan bullying her at the wedding dress fitting. You can see how terrified Charlotte is of Meghan at the royal wedding. WhenCharlotte & another little bridesmaid gets to the end of the aisle right by Meghan, Meghan gives Charlotte a death stare & Charlotte hurriedly looks down turns, & walks to the left as fast as she can without running. As a child abuse survivor, I can tell you from Charlotte’s behavior there she was truly scared of Meghan. Then look at Charlotte & the royal women at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. There was one or two short instances where Meghan got too close for Charlotte’s comfort, but the biggest issue is how Catherine, Camilla, Sophie (was there one other woman?) stood around Charlotte literally forming a barrier where Meghan couldn’t get near Charlotte. Just because they used silent communication doesn’t mean their message wasn’t clear as could be; they were telling Meghan, ‘If you touch her, say a word, & even look at Charlotte there will be hell to pay”.
I do wonder what they’ve said to the kids about Harry & Meghan. My guess is that they e said something along the lines of their behavior towards staff is ridiculous & we don’t treat people that way. In order to protect everyone, we can’t & won’t associate with them.
