As Russia continues its illegal invasion of Ukraine, Czech Senator Pavel Fischer, Chair of the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Committee, and now presidential hopeful tells #TaiwanTalks: “This blatant breach of the UN Charter by one of the members of Security Council is something extremely serious because the UN was built on the respect of borders with the ethos of preventing wars coming back.” Fischer adds: "For its very survival, it should be extremely strong in terms of addressing the breach of UN Charter."

If Russia can be called a “Terrorist State”, are there any provisions in the UN Charter for the removal of said “Terrorist State” from UN membership, AND, more importantly, removal from the UN Security Council?
