From what I overheard they were genuinely really worried (including the leader of the council) because they knew Gaza was such a big issue here. What's the point in a TLDR video if it doesn't cover what was arguably the most exciting and most significant result? A generic video of 'there were local elections and tories will probably do badly' really doesn't add much; we knew that already. @jamesarnold7253 Well i cant answer for anyone else. But if i was running or elected. My priority would be what is important to all of my constituents. Gaza is important because our country is aiding the evil. However i would also understand my people are facing financial hardship so there is nothing stopping me on prioritising both.

@jamesarnold7253 Yes the councils aren't going to influence thr situation in Gaza directly but the message is clear. This is an important issue to the British people.
Now your comment around have they done both, tbh i cant remember last time we were in this situation. We will jusy have to wait and see what the elected people do. Then judge them on that. In Kirklees no one has majority so no idea what that means.

When you talk about overturning majorities it would be helpful if you showed both the previous election's results and the current one. The comparison number you have on screen from around 1:49 is a bit confusing, and you need to stop the video to get the point. Two bars next to each other would show the same thing much better
