I’m not a serious runner, but I still picked up a Garmin 255. Seemed to give me the most features for the money. Going to use it to try to start being more active in general.

I pulled the trigger for Fenix 7X Pro - Sapphire Solar Edition Fog Gray / Ember Orange from Playbetter. Epix Pro was tempting but i can’t imagine myself paying 900 bucks for a watch with huge black borders that covers 15% of the screen.
What u mean ? I thought the screen to body ratio is the same on both ?
@@brucelin5842 Technically yes, they have the same screen size with Fenix 7X Pro and even with Venu 3. But Epix Pro doesn’t have a solar ring and Garmin filled that are with black borders. So Epix pro has a huge dead black band around the screen like Forerunner 55, 45, non-solar 955. Just check the screen with a white background or just turn on maps then you’ll se what i mean.

Whoop is the biggest racket in fitness. The product is so mediocre that whatever stats they show you cannont be relied on and the amount of money they charge is staggering and basically robbery.
Eh, I'm back and forth on it. I actually like the product and what I think is most useful about it is to ignore all of the numbers and just look at the green/red lines indicating strain/recovery/sleep. It does a good job at displaying how I feel on a graph which makes it "feel" accurate even if the numbers/raw data aren't. But yeah... it's a bit expensive for what it is. I think they'd sell a lot more if they were $5/month but it seems to work for them.
