    He only speaks so soft about the judges cause he won so often. And I‘m not saying that he didn’t deserve it. But how about a lee priest or kevin levrone? They got robbet almost every time and everybody knows this. Or what about Arnolds last show against muntzer ? I love Arnold but muntzer was definitly better than him. They let him win because he came from Hollywood and did another show after retire for many years.

      To be fair kai greene was never better thn phil heath i think in 2016 when kai start to win all of those arnold classics he would be extremely competitive.
      -
      With that physique he would come close but you gotta admit phil was just to complete.
      -
      Kevin levrone and lee had too much competition it was probably hard too for the judges.

    • @Thouxanbanquincy
      @Thouxanbanquincy Před 2 měsíci

      Kevin levrone is one of my favorite bodybuilders but he didnt have the best back and competed in the dorian & ronnie era, where both of them had the best backs of all time

      @@brucepower3429 I‘m 100% with you. Phil was the best ! He deserved it. But this is still politics. Why won Arnold his last Olympia after a break for years ? He was not in shape at all. Lee priest already beat Ronnie so many times and he never got second when Ronnie won. The Progress doesn‘t changed a lot from Ronnie and lee. This is not only a subjectiv sports its also about who they want to work with.

      I would argue that Phil didn’t deserve at least a couple of those wins. I can prove it as well. 2018, he lost because his GUT ruined his physique (which it did, blatantly). The head judge did a whole interview over this matter explaining in detail.
      So by this logic then, Phil didn’t deserve his wins in 2014 and 2017 especially. His GUT was just as bad. This is why The Olympia and bodybuilding judging in general is a joke!
      97’ We all know that Dorian was given the victory through pure, unfair bias as he won with only 1 arm against a far better physique of Nasser. Dorian admitted this years later that Nasser should have won that, he was better.
      Ronnie won in 01’ and 02’ ONLY because the judges favored him. He was clearly beaten both those years and in 02’ he was beaten by more than one person. Three Weeks later Ronnie actually lost to Gunter as it should have been at the Olympia.
      07’ Jay Cutler also had bias favor towards him as he was CLEARLY beaten by Victor Martinez. Victor was much more polished and impressive and Jay looked sloppy. Even Jay admitted Victor should have won.
      You can’t be taken seriously as a competition when your judging is not consistent and is corrupt from a business standpoint.

    Im not knocking Phil hear, but some of these promoters are doing incredibly well. Especially for the bigger national qualifiers that are established. Just look up how much it is to get an NPC card now a days.....look up how much it is for the day of the show. Look at how much it costs to do a class. Then look at the people who do crossovers.....then look at the show fees for the people attending to see their loved ones. Don't forget the cost for the coaches to go backstage.....oh wait, that doesn't take into account the vendors who pay to have a table at the event! All this going to a "non profit" organization.
