Hysterectomy hospital stay in UK is much longer than US. Wish we had that kind of insurance in the US. It's difficult to realize you can't have another child.

Yeah it depends on how complicated the procedure was and what it entailed. Since it is a huge surgery, it is not unheard of to stay for 2 weeks, especially since she is considered an important person in the UK and it would be hard to get her in and out of the palace/castle should something happen.
That’s a very long hospital stay for what is being called routine surgery.

If the surgery was planned, why was she scheduled to go on tour in Italy? What minor abdominal surgery requires a 14-day stay in the hospital with an additional two - or three month recovery at home. Will&Kate have a CEO over their household plus a home staff of 60 servants. Nannies for each child, so why can't William work? It's not like he's working every day under normal circumstances anyway. 😮

what makes you think its an ulcer? that doesnt require a surgery typically. unless it is perforated but that is technically an emergency.

Stress can cause hernias stomach ulcers but it can also be a women thing since her pregnancies were always sensitive.
How frustrating that Diana died and Kate is dealing with this while Charles and Queen Horseface just go on and on.
Give it up, Diana died because of very bad choices like repeatedly refusing adequate competent security, which really as the mother of a future king she had an obligation to have and then she got into a car and wore NO seatbelt with a drunk driver who drove erratically at very high speeds. I adored Diana but some of her behaviors and stunts for the media were disappointing even to her fans. This is a good lesson for us all to learn from - always wear a seatbelt and never ever get into a vehicle with a drunk driver.

What did she do that was so bad that she deserves to be so ill to require a 2-week hospital stay (in medical terms is an extremely serious situation that only is put in place if a patient may require intravenous medications and other life saving interventions ) and then a 3-4 month recuperation?
