How to Install 05-15' Nissan Xterra Hefty Fabworks Front Bumper and Warn Evo 10s Winch

  • In this video we will be going over how to install our Aluminum Tall Hoop Front Bumper (Part #21111TH1) on a Nissan Xterra. This install will be the same for any of our 05-15' Nissan Xterra front bumpers.

    07:37 Install Hefty Fabworks bumper mounts

    09:09 Install fairlead
    10:17 Remove control box and clock winch
    12:55 Clock winch cables and add ground cable
    14:39 Mount winch onto bumper
    16:05 Drill holes for KC lights and mount
    16:27 Place bumper onto vehicle
    17:10 Relocate control box
    19:20 Run cables towards the battery
    20:01 Align and tighten bumper to vehicle
    21:40 Reconnect fog lights
    23:12 Cut plastic grill to fit winch
    25:33 Reinstall plastic grill
    26:21 Tighten cables to battery and ground
    26:55 Cut fender liner
    28:07 Outro

    I have one of these (purchased in 2021) and will install in a few days. 1. I don't see how you can get your winch controller plugged into the control box and 2. I didn't see how you relocated the temperature sensor you removed.

      Access to the winch control box is from the top of the grill near the hood latch. The temp sensor is just zip tied back out of the way.
